Greetings all,

I have finally decided to roll my first troller, and have picked Earth/Ice for my sets, I am lvl ten right now and LOVING it. I have a few questions...

1. What powers do I avoid, if any?

2. How should I slot the main powers, basic overview would be great.

Ok, so I lied, not a few, just two questions. I would GREATLY appreciate help with this alt, so i dont fall down dead repeatedly. Thank you in advance!!

Ok, he has decided on fire/regen. How will cold stack plant/cold or earth/cold hold up? so far I am thinking plant or earth for primary and kin/cold/rad for secondary. Does him being regen make a difference on what i pick? I hate end issues, so kin sounds appealing, I love anything cold or earth, and i have NEVER tried plant. Any more suggestions?

I am new to the controller types. I have a brute, corruptor, dominator, and 2 scraps, all lvl 50. My buddy is starting out a fire scrapper, what would be a good complimentary primary and secondary to play with?? I have NEVER played a troller, could use some tips from the experts...

Hello all again, I have another stupid question to be answered by the masses here again. As the title explains, I know absolutely nothing about SS, or Fire. I have a EA/EM lvl 50 brute(loved him), a SM/WP 50 (damn near untouchable) and a elec/sd 20. I like brutes....not really, I LOVE brutes, just dont know a lot about these sets.

1. What powers are skippable?
2. What powers are pickable early on then respecced out later?
3. I am looking for a kill them before they kill me brute, I dont have a lot of inf... is this combo playable late lvls without dumping tons of cash into it?
4. Is there another primary that goes good with /Fire?
5. Tough/Weave?

Any and all questions would be greatly appreciated from the masses...

Hello all, I am back to heroes after a 3 yr stint of playing on and off on villains. I made a blaster for my character. I have never made a blaster before, my only other characters hero-side are a lvl 50 kat/inv scrapper and a lvl20 warshade. My blaster is fire/ice and currently lvl 10. I have a few questions on her and i greatly appreciate the information i have received in the past regarding other characters and am hoping you could guide me in the right direction.

1. Are there any powers i need immediately??
2. Are there powers i should pick up now and respec out of later?
3. Are there powers that are completely avoidable?
4. Which powers are a staple for my character?

Excellent guide!!! I created an En/En brute, got him to 50 last night using this guide as a basic template, and loved every minute of it, thanks for the advice!
