Not too far from Jan's house is an area called woodfield, it has some of the best places to go to eat and get your drink on in the area, at a fraction of what it would cost you Downtown.

Sears Tower would be nice then go shoppin at the Watrer Tower or stroll down One Mag Mile from some really nice WAAY over priced shops.

Then give me a call and I'll treat both you and Jan to some of the BEST Puerto Rican food you have ever or never had.

Ryan Reynolds cast in 'Green Lantern'

After an intense months-long search, Warner Bros. has settled on Ryan Reynolds as its choice to play “Green Lantern,” the studio’s live-action tentpole based on the DC Comics hero. The film is being directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti.

Reynolds and his camp entered negotiations for the part Friday, after the studio held two rounds of screen tests, along with actors Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. Justin Timberlake also did a screen test.

The studio had holding options on the actors, but, except for Reynolds, those expired Monday. Reynolds’ option would have expired end of day Friday.

One reason for the long search was De Line, Campbell and the studio each had a different favorite among the finalists, making it difficult to come to a consensus.

If the deal is completed, it would make Reynolds the only actor to have played heroes for both Marvel and DC. He recently starred in a comic book movie, Fox's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," where he played "the merc with a mouth" Deadpool. The character is now being developed for a spin-off to which Reynolds is attached. He also played Marvel’s vampire hunter Hannibal King in “Blade: Trinity.”

“Lantern” is actually Reynold’s second stab at a DC Comics hero. A few years ago, he was attached to play the comic company’s speedster “The Flash.”

My Fort is niether Villian nor Hero, he's a Vigilante so whether he chooses Paragon City or the Rogue Isles it doesn't really matter cause he will choose which ever benefits him the most.

Plus just think of all the shiny badges he can get that weren't avaliable to him before .

As a child growing up one of the best gifts my father gave me was how to appreciate a great boxing match........ Leonard vs Herns, Herns vs haggler, Pryor vs Arguello, to name a few.
and who could ever forget the No Mas emberassment Roberto Duran suffered at the hands of "Sugar" Ray Leonard.

Now all these years later I try to carry on that tradition with my own children. My oldest son would rather be playing Pokemon' on his new DSi , My younger son god bless his wee heart loves to sit and watch fights with me, usually after a couple rounds he gets up and mimics the boxers, that's a sight to see, cracks me up everytime .

I was fortunate enough to watch the Arguello/Pryor match and re-match back in the day and enjoyed every minute of it.

Pugged an ITF this morning and during the third mission I got a call from work and had to bail .

I hate bailing on any team i'm with but work is work and play is play, and work comes before play, unless you get payed to play then it's o.k to play cause you're getting payed to play, but I don't get payed to play, though I wish I got payed to play then I would play all day long

seriously though, i'm sorry to the team I was on for having to bail so close to the end. If I remeber thier names when I get home this evening i'll put one together and run them thru it.

I saw the game on the shelves in Best Buy, wal-mart, and a few other local retailers but it wasn't until I got a demo disc with a computer gaming magazine I was subscribing to at the time that I finally downloaded it and haven't looked back since.
