Now just to qualify my comment "(Strange, but good...)" I was worried that existing bases would just be devalued; that Prestrige would just evaporate.

If you look at the responses to that link, you'll see just how wrong I was in using the term "good". It was definitely a relative term

One of the other items of interest in issue 13 is the change to the cost of SG/SV base items.

Has there been any comment on what will change, and whether it will be retroactive?

The questions I am asking is:

On day 1 of I13 will I have the same base, the same prestige points, but everything is cheaper? If I sell a room that cost me X will I only get X minus I13 back? (Not so good - prestige points are lost)

or

On day 1 of I13 will I have the same base, the same prestige points, everything is cheaper, but when I sell a room or item I get paid back what I paid for it originally? Regardless of I13? (Strange , but good, no prestige points are lost)

or

On day 1 of I13 will the changes be factored in. I have the same base, just more prestige (equal to the difference in what was originally paid)?

The thing is that I am wondering if it would be better to sell everything - rooms, equipment, constructed equipment before I13 comes in. That way my SG & VG can build up the prestige points in the sale, and spend them again after the cut over.

Does anyone have any info on this? Should I keep our SG and VG bases "as is" or should I recommend a fire sale?

I really like the 'point of view' swap from the hero to the imprisoned devil. I love that the devil is agreeing with being a hero, but for only temporary reasons. Role play here is very rich. Well done!

No seriously! I used to be a graphic designer but I went too far into programming and then too far into instructional design and then too far into management. I'm only doing it to keep my hand in and play with the development tools my staff use. (Its amazing what they don't tell you)

OK going up now.

I added two links -

one to the raw source jpec - straight out of the camera.
one to a zip file with the layered image - 10meg - but if you have Fireworks, or a possible version of Photoshop that understands layered png file, you can play around with the image.

I am on ADSL, so my uploads are very slow. The PNG will take a while to get up there.

There is also a link to the BDL Car stereo, one of the shops in the foreground. I might muck around with an image or two but I am waaaay too busy to create an entire fake website
