I'm actually working on several possible scenarios for the invasion involving my Scrapper, his friends, and a few alts; borrowing from his anime roots, CapeMike has little choice but to play an ace card he's been holding back, and hope it's enough to stop the Rikti forces....

Agreed, CS...and I -know- we have some talented demo-movie makers here in the CoX community...SURELY we can one-up this!

One image with CapeMike I've always had in mind was him perched(similar to the new crouch emote) on the head of one of those mallets the Carnie Strongmen have; said Strongman misses with a swing, and when he looks up, CapeMike is there on the head with a 'you're TOAST' grin, ready to strike....

I have to 1st give full credit for the reference-shot here to Turbo-Ski, who graciously assembled it for me, and gave me some advice on seeking out art of my beloved Scrapper here....

But seriously, any artists who feel like using him for their own art-training, go for it! With a little luck, I'll soon be putting in an actual commission for him!

He's a super-speed based Hero who's constantly making obscure anime-references, and who rarely takes anything seriously, but can sometimes get a little TOO much into a fight, losing himself in the heat of battle....

Allow me to elaborate, Turbo....

He comes from a world that is, for lack of a better description, every anime-cliche out there rolled into one and given physical form...in other words, all the wildly hair-colored people and giant mecha are THERE...when he's not blowing them up, that is....

...and Im definately keeping cost vs. quality in mind, but for me, the big issue is which artist out there can best-capture the heavily anime-influenced theme of my Scrapper?

Ditto on my Scrapper....started writing about him in 1997, so his 'story bible' is quite extensive...I won't even attempt to put it here....

Suffice to say, if it's anime-related and it could happen, he's probably gotten mixed up in it!

I still remember the 1st time...the team I was on had just exited the mission that triggers that ambush...; we turn to our right, and tall, dark, and rusty is headed right for us...we shriek like schoolgirls, then calm down and manage to take him out...need more moments like that....

Funny is a bit of an understatement...; whenever 'CM', as he's known to some, shows up on the scene, his friends just KNOW that something VERY weird has either just happened, or is ABOUT to happen...typically, high levels of collateral damage are involved....

It'd take several pages to explain here, but he also has a deathly fear of sporks...yes, those little spoon/fork things....

If CapeMike ends up being recurring(which I'd -really- like), most of his misadventures on OtakuWorld usually ended in considerable amounts of anime-slapstick physical harm being inflicted on him...so if you've got any comedy-based running gags, CM's your guy....
