Looks like EA Brutes will be onto a winner here (points to sig). No more punishing -25% is a massive buff. Being able to hit end drain when under -recovery is also fantastic (with conserve power also an option). I'd much rather have a -recover period than an end crash on an EA brute, a crash (combined with a hasten end crash) can be enough to drop your toggles if your not careful.

And on top of all that can still taunt and use footstomp, not to mention the hold portion of KO blow still functioning.

That thread is too long but from what i can gather Stalkers might get a higher damage modifier from AS the higher ranked foe that they attack, making them a lot more useful against AVs etc and more desirable for pve teams. Correct?

You could go for a HO and IO mix then. Slotting 3 Nucleous Exposure Acc/Dam HOs and a single recharge or endurance IO would be better. Gives just under 95% acc and dam and a decent recharge or end bonus.

Well if you have achieved perma-dom you must have some nice recharge bonuses from your IO sets so I would say a simple 1 Acc 3 Dam should do the trick.

I used to run a SS/EA (i think SS is slightly more end heavy than EM) build without stamina way before IOs so it should be easy enough now.

I like to have Conserve Power ready each time Overload is going to crash so that I can carry on fighting after so I couldn't really use it for what it was meant for. Still easy enough with just End Drain as, like you say, you time it well.

What used to really annoy me though (and was what made me dump the stamina-less build) was the end crash that I got from Hasten and Rage. Both together they make a hefty crash. Hasten on it's own isn't too bad but you have to watch for it, if you get the crash at the wrong time you're finished.

Seriously, there's loads to do now, it's not like it was 2 years ago. You have IO sets to collect, PvP, the new RWZ, plenty of repeatable content and the soon to be released flashback system. What more could a 50 ask for? Dont let your 50 gather dust!

My main tactic for dealing with ambushes in general (same goes for non mayhem ambushes) is to use line of sight to your advantage.

I lurk close to a corner or some cover and the second the ambush gets close I hit BU then hit the first mob with my heaviest hitting auto-crit attack. That's one down two to go. Two is easy. Scrap one then placate & AS the other (or if you're feeling daring placate one and AS the other leaving just one to scrap). The main thing is to pay attention to the ambush warning text and choose where you are going to make your stand carefully.

Easy huh?

Mine does. I get over 150 damage per target hit with PSW. Mind Probe only does around 130ish. I'll double check later tonight in case I'm going mad. I didn't take subdue or the snipe so can't comment on those. I should have been a bit clearer.

Grats on getting to 38 and unlocking the jewel in the crown of the psi set. Wait till you get that baby slotted, it truely is awesome and makes the long hard slog that is psi domming worth every minute of effort.

Once you get 3 damage SOs in PSW it will outdamage every single target attack you have, so even though it is a pbaoe, it is effective no matter how many enemies you have around you. But of course, the more the merrier. Awesome!

Just wondering whether placate is still bugged. I've never really been into Stalkers but I've been playing one a lot recently and I have to say I've never noticed the bug (I play Nin/SR). The only reason I know of the bugs existance is because of this thread on the US boards. As I say, I've never noticed it (going to check it out today), maybe it's just a pvp bug? Anyone have the answers?

Surely if you get some decent sets you will be able to sort out any endurance issues you might get from dropping stamina? IOs plus Transference seems like it will be more than enough - especially as this is purely PvE.

I wasn't planning on playing either of these alts tonight so it's up to you how you handle it (maybe keep them in just to be on the safe side??)

I dont mind helping you out. I'll have to auto exemp though as I dont have a toon in range; it will mean that you'll be facing the highest level mobs (iirc) possible for that SF.
