The first Blood Ritual was successful last night! While the Hamidon raid sputtered at the beginning, all marshaled on and took it down. Golden Strata placed the killshot on Hami.

We moved from the Hive to RWZ and absolutely owned the Mothership. Capping the night with a full BAF run that went smoothly and the Blood Ritual was complete.

The Empire of the Damned would like to thank everyone that participated in the various phases of the event and know that we are committed to make the Night of the Damned a weekly occurrence that Guardian can look forward to every Friday night.

In celebration of the upcoming Empire of the Damned's Blood Ritual, we are holding a Costume Contest the night before (Thursday, July 28th) in Atlas Park at 9 pm EST. The Costume Contest will be a total of ONE BILLION influence split between four categories:

1. Best Overall
2. Darkest Male (we are a Vampire-themed SG)
3. Darkest Female
4. Best Bio

In addition, we are offering a bounty of 200 million influence for whomever lands the kill shot on Hamidon Friday night raid!

Just a reminder, the Empire of the Damned's Blood Ritual is happening this Friday at 9pm EST. The first part of this raiding gauntlet is the taking down of the Hamidon in the Hive. After Hami has been conquered, those brave souls that join us will head to RWZ to reform and raid the Rikti Mothership. Finally, after the Mothership is complete, we will form leagues in RWZ to run an Incarnate trial or two.

The first Night of the Damned: Rikti Mothership raid ran last night successfully for two runs. The Empire would like to thank everyone who participated for coming out, as we could not have done it without you.

Announcing the ‘Night of the Damned’
Presented by the Empire of the Damned Super Group on the Guardian server

The Empire of the Damned is proud to invite all of Guardian to join us in making Friday evenings an experience. We are going to be running raids each Friday night, alternating between Rikti Mothership raids one week and Hamidon raids the next.

This will begin on July 8th, 2011 at 9pm EST as we raid the Rikti Mothership, and the following Friday (the 15th) we will take down Hamidon. We will continue to alternate raids each week going forward.

But there is more…

On the last Friday of each month, the Empire will host a ‘Ritual of Blood’, a gauntlet of raids, beginning with Hamidon, moving to RWZ to take down the Rikti Mothership, and finishing with an Incarnate trial.

Here is the schedule of raids for July 2011:
July 8th – Rikti Mothership – 9pm EST – forms at Point du Hoc in RWZ
July 15th – Hamidon Raid – 9pm EST – forms in the Hive
July 22nd - Rikti Mothership – 9pm EST – forms at Point du Hoc in RWZ
July 29th – Ritual of Blood – 9pm EST – forms in the Hive; after Hamidon is defeated, the league moves to RWZ to attack the Mothership and finally the Incarnate trial.

We experienced this as well, no matter the team size. The blacked out person would be participating and for no discernible reason they would eventually show up on the team list as they should.
