Huh,
I`m a complete total noob in CoH and I was so happy some days ago when I was invited to join a SG.

By what you`re saying it seems that I was not so "lucky"...

I`ll see in the next few nights how it goes: but please meanwhile clarify one thing.

What`s the purpose of creating a Supergroup and then inviting "random" people in besides doing stuff (PvE, PvP, collections, etc.) together ?

Since this is not so clear to me yet, I just accepted thinking I was lucky to get recruited in a SG (you know... new friends, people with wich do stuff together, etc.).

Now you make me worry: is there any other reason I was invited in ?

Let`s put it this way: a dad ideally is a controller. If the "controlling" part fails then he better be a tank. And if finally also the tanking fails, well, wife will put on our head a lot of experience debt...

Here I am.

A new guy in. I`m Big None. I`m in COH because I want to play. A game.

I`m a grown up child of 38, with a wife and 2 sons and I love gaming. And I love online gaming. The problem is that most of the actual mmorpgs around are more and more becoming too much similar to a work.

I work every day, and I`m not used to pay for it.

I`ve read a lot of nice things about COH/COV and I decided to give it a go.

Bought both and so I`m in.

I started as a tank. And I`m Big None.

I choosed Union because I read about it being the unofficial rp server, and while I`m not really an hardcore player, I enjoy so much gaming that I often forget I`m playing a game.

Why I`m writing all of this ? I don`t know.

I`m a polite guy, so I figured out I had to present myself.

And maybe in the future I`d ask to join some nice SuperGroup.

And if anyone has suggestions to a new guy on your server, well, I`d appreciate.
