    Fire Tank Woe

    I have taunt (had it actually before Blazing Aura) but I mostly use it in big teams, and even then rarely. I gather my aggro by using Combat Jump to get into the middle of the mobs and occasionally Consume, along with BA. It normally is enough to get along, but taunt helps, especially against AVs when/if your attacks and aura are not hitting.

    I don't have FE but thanks to I7 it is useful for Burn as well, but I found no room for it, yet. Also, seeing my only fire attacks are BA and Burn, I don't see as much use in it as a fire/fire tank would have.

    Heya Psiphon,

    The Combo is an amazing Minion-Killer. Until the 40s the built was lacking burst damage to deal effectively with EBs (I mainly soloed), because I got the fighting pool and my self rez in the 30s.

    It still is no real damage dealer, but the control effects and the added "armour" from Icepatch (due to foes slipping) makes the built none the less effective

    Fire Tank Woe

    Have to agree. Played a fire/ice tank to 50.

    Started off with only 1 real attack until level 11, then I decided to pick some more attacks (it may not sound like it but using only frozen fists and brawl is fun until you can't go on any longer)

    At level 20 I had the combo I was waiting for, icepatch + burn. I respecced, got my travel power (which I left out in order for attacks from 12 on) and since then it was alot of fun.

    Mid 20s you get a hold and with your epic pool you can add a second hold, a team will love you for tanking AND being able to stop those damn sappers in a hold.

  11. Elec Armour with the new change to grounded:

    A very solid defensive set relying on resistance, even tho it lacks a self heal. The resistance-numbers are all solid except for Toxic but that's not too wild imo.
    With 3 SOs:
    S/L: 41%
    Cold/Fire: 41%
    Energy: 90%
    Neg. En.: 35%
    Toxic: 0%
    Psy: 41%

    You have a full mez protection except fear, repel or confuse and lightning reflexes plus 2 endurance saviour powers. So overall a nice set, lacking maybe in the aspect of damage mitigation (no defense, no self heal)

    Elec melee with the changes to Lightning Rod:
    A set mostly focussed on AoE/Cone attacks, lacking burst damage according to several players. LR did need the recharge fix (lets see how much it will be in the end) and Chain Induction is also being looked at for the XP-lost.

    What really is a bit disappointing: The endurance drain. As the set was announced it sounded as if you could go without Stamina by using endu-mods in your attacks. In PvP it will be very useful to drain other players but it does not help yourself alot.

    A suggestion: Increase the amount of endurance you can get back. Elec melee is a very unique set but the uniqueness of it (mostly endurance draining + giving endurance back) is barely noticeable against foes or for yourself

    Da wir uns die Organisation durch eine Anmeldung erleichtern möchten posten wir die URL damit man direkt zum Event findet und zu dessen Bedingungen.

    Aber wenn Community-Arbeit nicht erwünscht ist ist das eure Sache...

    Die 4 Millionen Einfluss sind dem Gewinner/der Gewinnerin sicher und die Mitgliedschaft bei S.H.A.D.O.W. ist ein Angebot unserseits welches aber nicht angenommen werden muss.

    Uns geht es hier nicht darum den "Superstar" von Zukunft an uns zu binden sondern um einen spassigen Event mit unbeeinflussten, unabhängigen Chars.

    Wem das nicht passt, der kann uns Ingame gerne auf Ignore setzen aber muss uns nicht anpöbeln, danke.
  14. You are aware that the ForceMastery Shields come with some drawbacks?

    Force of Nature is a long recharge Clicky. So yes, you get amazing Resistance.. for 2 Minutes. After that, you need to wait nearly 12 Minutes for it to recharge, 6 if you slot Recharge Redux into it. And you lose all your endurance once it wears off, so yea, it is better than any other toggle shield.. for 2 Minutes

    Force Mastery has 2 Emergency Buttons, Personal Force Field which stops you from attacking (kinda pointless for a Blaster?) and Force of Nature which is a 2 Minute "Please make sure I can fight that AV or tank a bit longer" clicky with a big endu-drain and long recharge.

    You should always look at the entire picture and not just say that it is "better" than the other Epics, for the other epics have a few more attacks, some holds and toggle shields

    FYI, to compare the toggles of the other epics with Force Mastery you should only compare them to Temp Invul, which is on par with those.

    Edit: And seeing the toggle-dropping rate is rapidly decreased some blasters might want to redo their 40-50 PvP Builds to get a few more toggle-droppers rather than Blapping-Shields

  18. Mit I7 sollen Helden und Schurken ja die selben Kostüm-Optionen bekommen und es soll auch noch ein paar Extras geben (mehr Spitze/Elfen Ohren, mehr Monster-Beine z.B.)

    Meine Frage nun, bekommen die Monster-Beine auch weitere Optionen hinsichtlich der Kleidung? Bisher kann man ja "nur" lange Hosen nehmen. Dabei wären einige der "Hosen mit Haut"-Optionen doch auch zu verwenden oder sogar Röcke bei weiblich Chars. Nur weil man ein Monster ist, darf man sicherlich mehr als nur Hosen tragen, oder?
