  1. Thank you both for the reply. Now to figure out how to play this game again.
  2. Hey all,

I'm an old player returning to the game. I've been working on figuring out how to respec my 50 Kat/Reg to make him useful for making inf. to fund my other toons. I don't really want to go into IOs right now with him. I'd rather make him viable and save the inf. if possible.

In general, I'd be happy to hear any advice people have about a solid SO-based lvl 50 build.

More specifically, I'm curious if people think I'd be better to focus on maximizing whatever defense I can muster - only about 11%, I think, with maneuvers, weave, and CJ/hover, which would leave me with no stamina and a recov rate around 1.3/sec, I think. Or, get what defense I can while using less end. and maybe running assault to kill things a little more quickly.

Any thoughts you have are greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks very much for the reply. If you'll excuse a dumb question, what are "rolls"?
  4. Hi all,

Well, I've tried my best after reading as many forum posts as I can stand, but I think I still need a little advice. I'm coming back after almost 5 years away, and I have a 50 kat/regen. Needless to say, he's not what he was when I left.

I'm ok with that. I'd like to respec him to make him useful enough to solo missions and have a little fun while making some inf. I only have about 9 mil. inf. but I have almost all of my 45-50 missions/story arcs to still do.

What I want to do is respec this toon out using a minimal amount of inf. to make him fun. I can live with SOs, common IOs, or some frankenslotting if it is cheap. I would like to make inf. with him and use that money to work on either a second, IO set build and/or a kick *** build for my 39 grav/rad cont.

Below is the build (likely deficient) that I put together based on my interpretation the posts I've read and after playing him in gimped form a few times.

A couple of things to note (of which I'm happy to be talked out of), I picked up FA so that I can go with only one Acc enh. in the attacks, thus leaving space for an End Red and Rech. I picked up Resilience and Weave, and slotted them, because there wasn't much else I wanted or much else to slot. If there's a better way to increase my survivability, I'm happy to hear it.

Oh, and one other slightly related question, I've been running missions with my old build at a Reputation of +0/4 with bosses at solo. With a better build, would anyone recommend a more efficient setting for making inf. while still enjoying the content?

Ok, any comments or advice is welcome. I thank you in advance for your time.

And on a more on-topic note, the "Whitecap" badge is obtained by visiting the "cargo ship Alba Varden, a hotbed of criminal activity." Alba Varden is the ship in Lethal Weapon 2 in which the criminals commit their criminal activity.
