I just live in a fantasy world.

Also, hospitals have backup generators in case the power goes out to keep those on life support going.

Quote:I have a slightly bigger issue with Rick going towards the helicopter sounds. He knows zombies are attracted to ::BrickTamland::LOUD NOISES::BrickTamland:: so he decides the best course of action is to try to gallop through the city, which he has already seen Walkers in, to chase it down. Y'know, like what the zombies will be doing. There's newb and then there's just plain stupid.
It's the difference between asking if KO Blow is a Hold or if Blazing Bolt is a Hold.
Guess which end Rick falls on?
Though I guess trying to get inside a building and climb stairs to the roof wouldn't be much better either.
Again, I don't need to think about these things. I'll be dead in the first wave anyways. -

Quote:To be fair, he's still a n00b when it comes to thinking about the zombie threat.Rick has got to have done the biggest DERP! in history. My word man. You see burned out cars all leaving the city with none on the incoming side and you decide that you are going to continue on in! That right there is a Darwin Award winner, without a doubt.

Oh, there is no way I am going to make it for the entire run of this. It is really good, but too scary for a wimp like me.

I want to watch this, but I am wimp and am scared of the potential for gore.
Maybe I will watch through my fingers. -
Love The AV Club write-ups and agree about the transexual thing. Is there a website that highlights the change in lyrics between the real RHPS and RHGS?
On to Mr. Shue. Will last season straddled the line between genuine nice guy to loser trying to recapture his glory days. I honestly think they should write Terri back in and see how they play off each other without the faux-baby mama drama. Right now, there is no external force holding Will back: Terri is gone, Sue is generally ambivalent towards Glee Club now, he already made friends with Coach Bieste. So, his pursuit of Emma is he's only real plotline this year so far and in trying to show his love for guidance counselor, the show is making him seem desperate. -
Quote:I had an argument, well, a brief conversation, with someone over whether or not Will is creepy. They said he is always creepy, I said he is a loser, but isn't normally creepy and shouldn't be creepy. So I just realized that Kurt stalking Finn and Will "Courting" Emma happen mostly when Ryan Murphy is writing the episodes. And they are almost always painted as tragic heroes.
I'm slowly beginning to realize that Ryan Murphy might actually think that what they are doing is romantic. That's too many shades of unsettling. -

Just it in the mail today. Will wait to read it. I like to savor EW over the course of a week.

By the way, it was Santana who supplied the lips.

Quote:Glee always has the battle with suspension of disbelief when it comes to their set numbers and their costumes. Will complains about the lack of funding for the club, yet each episode features at least one costume change and sometimes a big set piece. It is, of course, completely preposterous that any high school except the richest ones would be able to afford to put on something that looked like that. I actually went to high school in southwest Ohio and believe me, few of them had that kind of money to throw around. The costumes alone cost more than every production we ever staged, that's for sure.
And while the kids could be buying their costumes out of their own pocket or already own a few of them, their families have also been made out to be somewhat middle-class and I don't see them buying new clothing every week to match what ever the number dictates. -
Suddenly I think this thread is starting to mirror back on itself

Quote:Exactly. Will may have married his high school sweetheart but it was a marriage where he gave and she took. In fact it was Will's attraction to Emma that drove her to the whole faux baby affair that led to the divorce. Then it was Will's fault for making out with Rachel's bio-mom and sharing a bed with our favorite 4'11" former jockey and pie waitress that drove Emma off. So too bad, so sad that he doesn't get her, for now.
And, at the end of last season, when Emma told Will that he needed to find himself before they could ever hope to reconnect, he agreed.
But he hasn't let off of the gas pedal in his pursuit of Emma. Basically, last season, Emma told Will to back away, for their own sakes, and he has ignored that.
The show really needs to give Will another female character to act cute (not necessarily in a romantic way) with. And not Cheneworth. Though I love her, I feel her character is a bit too cartoony to be used more than once or twice per season. -
And you know Paul was getting a lot of octoplay after predicting all those Cup games.
-
Yup, I was thinking about that moment and our discussion about it when RHG made it clear as to why Will was staging the musical. And his interactions with Emma and Carl during the course of this episode made me hate him a little bit.
-
My big problem with the episode is the reason why Will put it on in the first place. I hate it when the make Will to be this stalker and make Emma some prize he has to win.
I don't mind it when he is portrayed to be as big a loser as the Glee kids, but I feel like they make him into a d-bag while they want to make him appear sweet and cute in his teenager-like ways to impress a lady. -
Yeah, I don't know if I hated that episode or loved it.
Glee should definitely stop doing themed episodes for a while. They can't properly write a story around a theme. -
