Well good news and sort of not good news...after two bosses were "relieved of duty" and things are in turmoil, turns out we will not be getting the lost salary differences, at least in the long term. But they are promoting us (turns out we were all overdue and should have been promoted a while ago). It still turns out to be a net loss, but I looked at our budget and we can afford to be in game again.
So looks like Planty Girl and I are going to be able to support the NCSoft stock exchange. Her job is now up in the air as she is a teacher and the layoffs are starting to pile in. I should be putting the cash into bills or savings but I am opting for some outlet to all the insanity. I want to extend a very huge thank you to several folks offering to pay our accts and a special benefactor that hooked us up over the holidays. Triumph and CoX as a whole has some great people in it and I am glad we met you all at the hospital in RV...I mean in game.
We will be lounging around until the economy collapses entirely and the streets look someone summoned Gang War. Or in other words, just like Egypt.

Sadly my account time is dwindling but I am having fun with issue 18 and 19 content. The new missions and TFs are fun and challenging but not too insane.
And now I see this today on facebook as some new stuff in the works
And I think they should generic it cuz they straight stole it from my woodpecker...
Either way looks like the devs are working on putting new shinys out there... -

Huh, I never noticed that before. Since I'm the only active member of my SG the odds of me running the CoP trial 100 times are pretty low (current badge status: 2/100). Oh well, hopefully a more active SG will fill us in on what (if anything) it unlocks.
EDIT: For the curious it apparently unlocks the Improved Energy Beam item. -

OK new Mac user here and just started getting an error the boots to a white screen and forcing us to reboot the All-in-One we have. Error reads fatal error with a pigg file.

Merry Christmas! So glad you all made it through ok. My first instinct was to say let's power level that little girl but then I remembered the greatest times where each moment with my kids, so take it slow and savor each step of the way. Congrats!

I was and I can testify it has the opposite effect. Seven days later I turned to a toxic apple jelly MRE treatment to get anything to come out of me when I sat down. It was more scared then a cold Groundhog on February 2.

I won't get into what and how it is happening but it is frustrating to see the top tier get all the help in the world after they fund people to get elected, meanwhile unemployment benefits get cut like an afterthought??? The class division is getting wider and wider....I digress.
Bottomline they pulled some of our pay and so we found the "rule book" and have a solid case they were wrong. We are kinda waiting for a booth review in NFL terms. We will see what the outcome is next year or hopefully even sooner.
Thanks again for the well wishes and offers to help out. If we get on our feet with the pay I am sure we will be back.
The bummer? Work sent me on the road until next week, the hotel I am in has the worst internet speeds...so the last few days I have on our accounts are ticking away
When it rains it pours for my CoH woes. I was in Iraq so at least I am ******** about this instead of what I used to ***** about over there. Like "Damn...that rocket almost hit me in the port-a-potty." Yes. I almost got taken out in a plastic pooper while sitting down.

Thanks for all the offers for gametime cards, I'll kindly turn them down, since well, I am too proud lol. Also, we have talked it over and want to take a break and get back into real life. If my shop gets its way, we are looking at the loss in special pay and may have found they took it without proper cause. So, you never know, we may get it back.
In the mean time I am on the road, and my internet sucks at my hotel, so when I get home in a week or so, I plan on hitting everyone up for a few runs of the new stuff.

I checked our accounts lol we are good up until Christmas eve so I intend on having a nice day or two of running amok with as many of the OG gang I tend to run around with. Maybe have a Baba -led HAMI PHAIL with Kronos and no pants for good times sake. Followed up by my wife running the original Frostfire mish a few dozen times...

Well if you were one of the people who think gov't employees get paid too much, I will make your day. My entire shop just got a sudden immediate $11,000 a year cut in pay. I can no longer pay my kids allowance, cancelled their music lessons, returned a nice chunk of Christmas gits and when the subscriptions run out here, I will be gone.
So good job for bailing out the CEOs and making me ******* pay for it. Now several other businesses lost my patronage to help you out Uncle Sam. Brilliant economic strategy. Keep an eye out for the House and Senate pay raises though...
Hope to see you all while I can, my wife (Planty Girl) and I have thoroughly loved the experience and CoX made her a MMO gamer. I will miss the highs and lows, I won't miss purple drops (CUZ THEY SUCK WORSE THAN MY PAY POSITRON) and I think I will miss all the TW 1/2.0 drama. Now to NCSoft to see how many days I have left... -

Continuing my drum beat to give us the IoP, just as a decorative item, to place in our bases. The idea of an item reward for game play is great and I do love me some shiny in my base. Otherwise invent some item I can plop in my empty IoP room.
