Quote:methinks you've not been on a ritzy golf course lately. Of course, neither have I, but still, there's something about chasing tiny white rocks around a pasture that makes men's minds weak. Weak enough to wear.....those.....What confuses me about those pants is this: The types of people who wear such astonishingly random pants typically would not shop at Brooks Brothers. Where is their target demographic? And how do they expect them to come up with $200 for them when you can likely find something similar in Hot Topic, or piece it together yourself?

Having sent a lot of time on Champion and in their main global channel over the last few months, I'll say this: Justice is way, way more busy, especially red side. There seem to be more people in globals pugging on Champion. The global channels on Justice are wayyyyyyyyyy more liberally moderated....WAY more. seriously: way.
Drama is not unknown to erupt in one or all of justice's globals, but it usually makes for some good lulz if you don't get sucked in.
I've played on Pinnacle a bit, too, and it's way more like Champion than it is like Justice--granted it's its own entity, but it's *more* like Champ.
Having played 4 years on Justice, I enjoy Champion for the quiet. I've met some solid folks over there and had some very good teams, but Justice is home and is just generally more frenetic.
ETA: RV was fairly consistent a few months back. I've been out of game alot lately, so I can't say for sure now, but there is a reasonably large group of consistent PvP folk and RV is the main zone for their mutual mas....erm PvP shenanigans. I sometimes venture in there to help one side or the other grief its rivals; it's about as friendly and good natured as a PvP zone can possibly be, and likely busier on any given night than any RV other instance in game other than Freedom's.
One final note: Justice is the Unofficial Australia/NZ server, so it has a variety of people on during the hours you'll likely be playing. -

Think of the squirrels, zap.....THINK OF THE SQUIRRELS!!!!
oh yeah: on topic:
My house was in the golden triangle of arcade games when I was a kid. We had a gas station a block away with 3 boxes on rotation, another one a block in the opposite direction with 2 on rotation, and a laundrymat a block in a third direction with 10 - 15 games in slow rotation. The clerks at hte gas stations probably hated me since they couldn't sit outside and smoke "cigarettes" while I was ther for 3 hours at a time. The skating rink was a little closer to my house, and I practically lived there from 84 - 90. I was just talking to a friend of mine who's about 25ish and a touch too young to remember the golden age of arcades. I miss the giant room full of dozens and dozens of games many of different and exotic titles. ROC, anyone? Mr. Do franchise? Zoo Keeper? Rush'n Attack? Gunsmoke? (the last two are late-arcade "golden" age--like 85/86) What I really loved was the variety and the fact that there were *always* games I'd never heard of. So many of them were lousy, but there were more than a few hidden gems.
On top of that I remember the day I got my 2600 clearly...partly because I got a 2600, and partly because my dad slammed the (extremely heavy) door of my mom's 76 camaro on my leg (I was 7 or 8). I also remember xmas when 84 I got my C64, the single greatest gaming console of all time. My grandfather's neighbor was a C130 gunner and a member of a little air force hacker group and had HUNDREDS of copied/cracked (or as cracked as they needed to be back then) games that he let me borrow. I soon fell in with a tough crowd: modems and fantasy RPGs. -
I've seen mine degenerate into tens of thousands in the leftmost column (is that days or hours?) I just close the updater and reopen it and it applies in a normal amount of time--like 4 minutes rather than the previously shown 4 decades.

How clever. Philly used that cupcake to catch you a delicious kitten.
