Mission Architect Contest
Should I enter my Snow Globe mystery in there? I always thought it was pretty good, but I'm not sure what category to place it in.... -
Well if you were in a Super Group and went evil, why on earth (in RP world) would your heroic friends want to keep you in the group if you are all mean and stealing lollipops from babies? They'd kick you to the curb and keep your prestige for good measure!
-
Aww that's wonderful!
LOL @Rhynwa's post. -
I enjoy it. I flip between red and blue, but am currently on a red kick.

I have an SS/EA brute. I love him but he's definitely squishier than his brethren. And he can't tank the RSF for anything.
I noticed you said you have problem with aid self. If you put 2-3 interrupts on it, you should be able to get it off 95% of the time, AOEs or not.
I IO'ed mine out a bit. I didn't spend a ton of money on him, but it helps:

Sounds like a great contest. However, I am already committed to staying in my current SGs. And now I am sad I am not going to LoG with Mylia!
-
All I can say is that I hope they hurry. After 3 issues of essentially no new content (note: new things to explore, not rehashed powersets and missions (player created or otherwise)), I'm bored to death.
-
He had posted a picture of an ugly toon with a rooster head.
-
That reminds me of when we did the Turkey Hunt, Dawun and crew dressed up like that!
-
There's actually a better one of that baby here
-
A two minute drive? Shoulda walked. At least you woulda worked off a small portion of the calories and fat in that cheese

Quote:I think you misunderstood me or I misunderstood you.I thought about doing that, but I think this would be better. If we do a PvPEC event then some players will not be able to play since there will be a lvl cap and some players are making new toons. I rather have it that we all start off at a lower lvl and we all pvp from the beginning and not keep anyone left out. Whenever I play a first person shooter game I usually start off with nothing and work my skill lvl up to learn how to play my character from the beginning. I just dont like dropping lvl 50's in a match with lvl 5's and say "GO!!"
I do thank you for your suggestion and in the future if we get more players then I might host a CoA (City of Assault) event and have special fights, etc...
1) this wouldn't be a pvpec event.
2) everyone would make a new toon and level them together. Then you could host events at each weight class designation. You could make use of level pacts with people who want to participate but might not be able to devote as much time to it. That way, everyone would still be at the same level. -
Why don't you do an entire event out of this? When I led the PvPEC, JustJoan on Justice would get a bunch of people together and they would all level their toons together and at certain times, do the zones or the arena.
The result might be a better turn out since everyone will know each other and come to anticipate the days of the grouping. I think in the past with some PvP events, turnout was sketchy and new players weren't able to really get involved.
Just a thought. -
I blame Karl for the hangover I had last weekend.
-
-
I like the idea but personally I hate assault rifle and wouldn't want to roll most of the other combos. I can probably refit my bane to a second build for it.
The MM part concerns me however. I think I have to agree with Karl on it. And if you allow vengeance (if you are intending this to be teams), I'd be even more concerned. (then again, since 13, I don't know squat about PvP so what the hell do I know? -
My hard drive once died and it was still under warranty. I wanted to get the information of it before I sent it back for replacement. I took it to Best Buy's Geek Squad. I picked up my disk and then mailed the drive off. When the new drive was installed, I stuck in the disk to get my stuff and it was someone else's laptop backup.
They were not very apologetic and kinda jerks about the whole thing. -

Quote:The card I've had since March but it would leave red pixels all over the place and when I was playing COH, it would often stop responding and have to reboot itself (which would cause the game to lock). So finally I got in touch with the vid card support and they suggested I flash my bios (since it hadn't been updated since 2004) and chipset. So I did that which seemed to help the vid card, but now, I have COH connection issues.ouch, I've been having the worst time with ATI cards over the past week, and not just with coh, just windows in general, i broke down and bought a nvidia yesterday. after about 3 hours of removing the ati stuff i'm back up and running. did you make any changes to your drivers or did you install a new card?

Quote:I don't think I count i16 as new content. New shinies maybe, but new content? No.They didn't shut it down because they didn't like it, They shut it down because it was full of bugs. I know for a fact that they have tried to fix the bugs, but the bugs were taking too much time to find. This is very low on their list of things to fix now. If they have to chose between spending time fixing a PvP problem or working on new content like i16, they will chose new content. There are just not that many people that PvP compared to PvE players. The Devs time will always go to what the largest number of players will like.
They broke the pathing and then opted to let it be and shut raids down. I don't recall them ever trying to fix the bugs. As you said, it was more a matter of low priority than them even making more than a half-hearted attempt to look at it. -
I'd love to but I can't get connected to the game since I flashed my bios to stabilize my new video card.
Not sure what it is, I disconnected the firewall and still nothing. ...
-
The status says they are up but I can't get on. I also tried going to NC Soft's support and it's timing out or comes up all screwy.
Anyone else having issues? -
