Brax usually does a Christmas raid, so I'll volunteer him for this.

Thanks to everyone who came out for this! It was really fun. Will be running another on August 15th!

Thanks for the clarification.
It'll come in handy if I ever visit Australia.

I wonder if Schooner's Praetorian will be Sailboat....

Quote:Normally, the stipulation is that it has to be either your primary or secondary power set. But if you don't have anything else, and none of the other alts show up, you can have the 8th spot.My second account is not active got to see if i do have another dark toon high enough to do it dose it count if its the epic power that's dark?

Welcome to Justice! You picked a great server to join.

Yay! Have you guys on the list.

So tomorrow is the return of the Sunday Special, and as requested, we're doing a Dark themed ITF. We'll meet at Imperious at 3:00pm EST. The only requirements for the Sunday Special is that you have access to Cim and at least one of your power sets has to be in the theme.
I realize it's short notice, but I only just found out that I'm going to be able to actually do this. Thank you all for your patience and your interest in it!
1 - @ArwenDarkblade - Chthonic Embers, level 50 Fire/Dark Corruptor
2 - @Abraxxus - Gorgon, level 50 Dark/Dark Corruptor
3 - @Allyriah - Blood Diamond, level 35 Dark/Pain Corruptor
4 - @Dark Bridger - Dark Caress, level 39 Dark/Dark Corruptor

That made me sad. Healthy arguing with Liv was one of my forum highlights.

Quote:I just don't see how anything here could be considered "non-Justice." I mean, we the players are Justice. Wouldn't anything we are interested in be considered relevant? Isn't understanding player culture important to keeping the community strong? What's the point in threatening if they're not going to do it? Just look at the Justice subforum to see how well 'moderating' non-Justice things turned out.
And I'm not trying to be argumentative here. I just find the whole directive very vague, and I know I'm not the only one. Look how many people stopped posting here after that sticky was put up. -

I don't think I'm ever going to have the time to do one of these again.

Quote:Oh, I thought that was the place you had been thinking of for this year's Justice dinner.Don't be. I'd never schedule a Justice dinner there. It just wouldn't handle a large group like us very well. The Korean BBQ place doesn't scale very well. Also, they try to cram too many people per table. A definite down-side when you cook the meat at the table.
However, if you've got a group of 3-4, I'd heartily recommend dinner-time there for belly-busting shenanigans!Still sounds great, and I still miss getting to see everyone this year.

So jealous. I'm still bummed that there won't be a Justice dinner there this year.

Quote:That's a feature I'd both like and hate. Like because it makes agreeing easier, but hating because everyone would get lazy and just like stuff instead of giving input.I tried to like this post like it was a facebook status.
It didn't work, so my explanation of liking the post will have to suffice. =P
Or making senseless posts like the one I just made. -
Quote:Isn't that the truth. These forums have not been enjoyable for me in a very long time, but I still find them one of the easier ways to organize events. So many people are gone, so many more post everywhere but Justice. It's sad really. It used to be a lot funnier here. Personally I think Justice got singled out for punishment because the Justice forums got a bit feisty, so somehow we're the ones who got a special sticky and anything that seems too much like entertainment gets the threadsmack.
I blame [redacted].
On top of that, I really dislike the new forum software. I miss the old forums, and Gnome's quote pyramids.
However, I find our in-game culture to be top notch. The people of Justice are really great, and teaming here is a lot of fun. We are great raiders, great at TFs/SFs, and have very helpful global channels.
It's a shame our forums don't reflect all that. -
I have many 50s and lots of other higher end characters, so I have a wide variety of characters I can bring to a team. I've been playing nearly six years, so I am quite familiar with both sides of the game and can help with a number of things - badging, base building, task/strike forces, regular mission teaming, raiding, writing an AE arc, giving you costume advice, etc. I'm not a PvPer, but I'll gladly be someone's punching bag for four hours if that's what they want.
Also wanted to add that I'd be willing to get on voice chat with the winner if they wanted. I use Skype mostly, but I also have Vent and TS installed. -
I know today is supposed to be the day that I brought the Sunday Special back. However, I have something going on in my personal life that is keeping me very busy. To that end, I'm going to push it back again to August 1st.
The good news, however, is that because of how the Sundays in August fall, there will be three Sunday Specials that month.
Thanks you all for being patient! -
Quote:Hm. I was under the impression that we were auctioning ourselves off as players, and would bring whatever was best for the team to the table when it came time to play.not sure if we are allowed just one toon to be auctioned off, but I would be happy to auction off DB O'Feelgood my 50 DB Scrapper, and Magnum Feelgood my 50 DP Blaster, as well as Nuprin Feelgood my 50 Emp/Dark Defender.
Also, where are we supposed to post what we can and are willing to do?
