  1. Now this is the information I have been searching for. Guess my search-fu is as bad as my memory. I could have sworn at some point you used to be able to get the Arriviste badge on a hero just by running the tip mission again.

Well how ever things may have worked in the the past for the present if a hero wants to wear the Arrivest badge and still be a hero the only path is round trip thru the alinement system. I don't want the badge that bad. Case closed

    Thanks Ms. Mesmer.

Did you get the badge this Halloween or last year? The problem I have been having is I don't get the choice as a hero to sell the Malleus Mundi. Conversely when I run the Halloween tip mission on my villain no option to turn the Malleus Mundi in is given only tosell it.

As for my rogue I earned the Arrivste badge today (again only choice) and tomorrow I will convert to pure hero and see what happens. If no automatic change I will runt the tip mission and see what choices are offered.

I suspect that due to the release of Going Rogue and the whole alignment change ability something has changed with this badge but I have no proof thus far.

I also suspect the only way for a hero to get the Arriviste badge is to run the grand loop from hero to villain grab the badge and return to hero.

    Will keep you folks posted.
  3. Can someone refresh my memory? I am running the Halloween tip missions. In the past I thought that as a pure hero if you chose to turn in the Malus Mundi to MAGI for the Trustworthy badge then you could run the mission again and get the choice to sell the Malus Mundi and have your Trustworthy Badge replaced with the Arriviste badge.

Is this badge now one of those flipper badges that changes when you go from hero to villain. I thought this badge was dependent on you choice on the reward table not your current loyalty status but I am starting to doubt my memory. Some testing has shown that Arriveste is now villain only or may have been all along and I am just mistaken.

    Can anyone confirm this?
  4. In the interests of making mail management easier it would go along way if when you re-sized the vertical height of you mail window you could re-size the portion of the window that displays the mail headers.

As it stands now increasing the size of the mail window only expands the vertical size of the message body. Since we are dealing with larger volumes of small messages the ability to view more headers would be just as useful if not more so than just expanding the message body size.

As a side note I have noticed with the fixed header window the header on bottom is partially cut off till the list is rolled up thus you only see at best 4 headers at a time.

    Apex SF sucks!

Why would a villain protect Paragon City?

Easy to take out the competition encroaching on his or her future empire and it is a well known fact super heroes are easier to deal with that super villain they have that whole morals thing

Why would an EVIL Scientist contract other villians to do the same?

Do you have any idea how much trouble it is to set up secret bases and lay conquest plans only to have some other villain stir up the heroes and screw things up. Of course any Evil scientist would set plans in motion to protect all his hard work even if it means shafting another villain even it it meant protecting Paragon city in the short term.

    Keep on Scheming

    COH Halloween

Sounds like that would have been a blast, I wish I had been around for that .

While we are looking at Halloweens past does anyone remember on test again a few years back when there was a prestige bump on test and for Halloween one of the SGs who had ties to a web radio station set up a massive maze in their base. The thing was massive and made of wooden spikes from the base creator. Halloween night they set up coalitions that let you get in and try to run the maze. They had a live web radio broad cast running and the devs even mad appearances.

Either the OP's base raid or the massive maze I mention would be an interesting Halloween event. Actually now that I think on it a labyrinth mission map would be fun any time of the year , say in Cimerora . Just a thought.
