I would like to see this happen.

In the interests of making mail management easier it would go along way if when you re-sized the vertical height of you mail window you could re-size the portion of the window that displays the mail headers.
As it stands now increasing the size of the mail window only expands the vertical size of the message body. Since we are dealing with larger volumes of small messages the ability to view more headers would be just as useful if not more so than just expanding the message body size.
As a side note I have noticed with the fixed header window the header on bottom is partially cut off till the list is rolled up thus you only see at best 4 headers at a time.
