I'm back after about a year-long hiatus and have been playing Villain side. I notice a lot of lag that I didn't before and am wondering if this is consistent across all zones these days. I recall that Grandville used to be known for its lag but that's the only zone I used to have problems. Now I blink along in Cap like it's a power point show.

I don't have any lag issues while on a mission map, even while teaming with multiple power effects going on. Just flying thru Cap, however, drops my FPS to 3-4.

I understand that everyone's PC is different and that one person's lag isn't another's..just curious on the general findings over the past year or so.

My graphics settings are fairly maxed out, with everything at least at medium performance and most things on high. Which settings should I reduce to see the most performance increase?

Hoping for some advice on how to slot the Hell On Earth power for my fledgling Demon/Thermal. Not a lot of info out there on Demon yet (that I could find) so just looking for what has been working for others. Just got the power so really don't have a full sense of what it can do.

The one build guide I came across had the first 3 slots with recharge reduction then there were differing opinions on the slotting from there. Damage, To Hit were what I saw.

Thoughts? Any advice would be helpful.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Quite awhile back I came across a program download link here on the forums by which you can customize your entry splash screen, import your own pictures to show up on the billboards, have your own music track play during the load/character choice screen as well as in Pocket D.

Can anyone remind me what that program is called, and if possible, direct me to the thread here on the board that links to it?

Really, two bind questions. 1) Is there a command that shows all of the binds I currently have setup for a given character? One of the bind guides says /bindlist but that doesn't work. 2) Is there a bind command to close or hide the inspirations tray? /bind [key] "show inspirations" opens the tray, however, "hide inspirations" does not work as suggested in a bind guide.

Having only recently come back to the game after a break I haven't really been exposed to "Generation AE." Just curious..has it impacted the way character builds are put together? Travel powers come to mind. I understand that there can be any number of reasons to take a travel power, not the least of which are that they're cool and fun, but it occurs to me that if you never have to leave Atlas nor the standard selection of mission maps, they could be easily skipped in lieu of other primary/secondary/pool powers.

I've always enjoyed the travel powers but quite honestly my primary reason for hustling to the lvl 14 "travel power promised land" was so that I could finally get to my destinations quickly and hassle-free. Any bonuses or benefits beyond the transportation aspect were/are secondary at best.

Again, as newly returned I'm curious if AE has impacted builds.

Thought about reading it until I saw that chapters 2+ have no paragraph breaks. That would make for a mind numbing reading experience.
