Young Tutor is one of the coolest players I have met. We had a mission that was bugged so that I could not see his character or some of the mobs, but I could see his sigs. Instead of insisting we restart it he let me run it bugged for fun and he was damn cool about every little thing, real laid back,

Bort you were kicked right after a positive comment about the Goons. Who ever did it was trying to be funny, that or they realy hate goons and goon sympathizors.

Anyway the system is realy unsafe it would be far too easy to sabatoge a GC chanell. Set private then boot to ones hearts content. As long as you left a few OPs around it would be hard to know who did what. They should tag not only who was kicked but also who did the kicking, same with any action.

SoandSo has set Chanell to private. SoandSo has kicked VoodooCompany from SuchandSuch a chanell.

Too easy. I dont think the coding would be too difficult, but then again I dont program. But this would add some accountability to the system.

Ive only kicked one person. I kicked the guy who asked for the PL while playing his friends toon. Someone kicked his friends toon and then he brought his Toon on and asked why he was kicked, so i kicked him.

Otherwise the only thing I do is silence Voodoo alot, ALOT.

CoH USO is a GC chanell for active, reserve and national gaurd members from all branches. Join to talk to other military members and get info on military groups in game or out.

In my circle we would call you a blender (blaster + defender). Even if you think that HA is not worth your time, you still have Clear mind and Recovery Aura are...well...very important.

Im not going to sludge through every post here so if you are tired of what Im about to say then ignore it. Endurance costs of powers is rediculous. They cost too much. And some powersw dont cost enough. Ex Fly is a major drainer and its a slow power, SS can be left on all day and your fast as all get out. I know Fly has other benifits but its cost is too high for the slugishness of it. Also with so many toggle powers in game Staminia is a must. I think it would be more fun if end cost were reduced and stamina was made less effective. Just my opinion

Wow. Good stuff. I am also new to MMORPG. I avoided them for years because Im an old pen and paper gamer (GURPS and AD&D). Unfortunatly I am having hard times finding gaming groups. Also I have not been impressed with most MMOGs to date. But CoH was different. You are right about the people for the most part they are very nice(good thing since we are supposed to be heroes). I found a great super group. Unlike you I hate to solo, I play mainly for the social aspect. I hate real life people and it is so easy to log off if you get tired. Harder to get away from real people. You realy should be careful about assuming genders, my rule of thumb is react to the toon until you get to know the person. If they complain about something just say that you are reacting to the character and not the RL alt. I have one female character and I do roleplay her well, if I get a Tell I always reveal that I'm male but it would be very easy not to. It should not matter unless you are planning on hooking up with someone and well thats just weired to this old foggy.

Keep up the journal. I was thinking of writing an article on some of the philosophy behind CoH. You may have inspired me to actualy do it. Thanx
