    I'll try that too, I did in fact go to ATI's website to DL the drivers (newest update was from 2/17 I think) so I didn't think that they would be a problem but I'll reinstall to see what happens.

    Thanks Texas Justice, I'll browse through those threads and see what I can get, as much as I would loathe calling dell support I'll give it a shot.


    Edit:

    I went ahead and set the NIC to Application mode and was able to get into the game, turning it back to game mode ending up causing the same issue all over again so I think I'll just leave NIC in application mode since it seems to be working alright now- Thanks for the help guys.

    I very recently installed windows 7 (64-bit) onto my desktop PC and decided I wanted to get back into the game, after reinstalling and reactivating my account I keep getting the error "Unable to connect to DBserver" a quick search on these forums recommended disabling my firewall but even after doing so the problem persists. The only other thing I could think of is my anti-virus (I run McAfee) but after disabling that I still get the same error message.

    Any idea on what is going on?

    I also tried forwarding my ports at a friend's advice, all that seems to have done is make me get the "Can't connect to DBserver" error faster than before.
