So once i get a Respecc, i will see that i dont slot Hasten so much....i am not sure why i havent picked up WAWG....i was prolly focused on the Crab Powers so much, that i didnt pay Attention

And i will check out right now the PerfShifter Proc. I have 29 Merits atm since i didnt know what to spend them on before.
Oh yeah, the lvls i put slots in Powers and such might not be accurate....just wanted to show my Build in general

Edit: I went to the Merit Vendor and the PerfShifter Recipes cost between 50-150 Merits

Hasten - in the long run you probably won't want 4 slots in this as 3 SOs will get you to the ED softcap (that 4th slot won't contribute much). With IOs you could even get away with 2 at level 50, depending how badly you want to perma hasten. In any case, Crab builds tend to be quite slot intensive, so later on you'll likely find you want to respec a slot or two out of there.

Crab Spider Armor Upgrade - those resist enhancers don't really provide much as the resists in this power are miniscule. That said you probably will want those two slots in the long term, to slot the -kb Steadfast IO and the 3% defense Steadfast IO.

In the immediate future I'd look to get a couple more defense enhancers in Tactical Training Maneuvers, and maybe a bit more enhancement in Venom Grenade (either recharge to get that debuff out more often, or damage since it's a decent damage power in its own right).

You could also look into frankenslotting cheap IO sets into your powers to get a little more mileage out of them, but that's a whole guide in itself (I forget who wrote it).
Thanks mate, that was very helpful
  4. Hi, i just got to lvl 24 today and wondered how to build my Crab.
(Even though i play a VEAT, i never played past lvl 23 before so i dont know much about the Game really.)
So i read through a lot of Posts here but since most Builds are for lvl 50s, they arent very helpfull on how to choose / Slot as a low level.

Thats why i would like to post my actual lvl 24 Build now and would like to hear if i am on the right way or what i can improve.

Atm my Goal was some defense, have Hasten on without too much downtime and no Endurance Problem.

    Thanks

  5. Yeah, got Lucky today and joined 2 Teams...one was with 2x 50s running around with everyone who wanted in....got from 10-18 in 45 mins where i needed before 2hrs soloing for lvl 8-10...hehe

I just figured a Villain Group would have been the nice and easy way to get into Teams more often

PS: Its amazing how much fun this Game is when youre in a Group and how much different it is when you solo sadly
  6. Thanks for the Welcome Back.

I actually joined the Defiant Events Channel already but usually it seems that the old, max lvl players organize Teams there.

Ofc i could start a Team but i am more the Team Joiner, not the Starter ><
  7. Hi there, after a 2 Year break i just took the Opportunity of the Steam Sale to come back and check Going Rogue out.
I never got very far in the Game, my highest Char is lvl 24 so i am still a Noob
Now i started a new Arachnos Spider and fight my Way through the Red Side.(lvl 8 atm)

But...its a bit empty so i wondered if theres any Villain Group around thats full of newbies, lowlevels, Alts for Mish Runs ?

I am more of a Casual Player myself, sometimes only on for 30 Mins, sometimes for some Hours....all depending on how long my Girlfriend lets me Play before demanding my Attention xD

Anyways, i hope to hear from a VG

    Cheers,

  8. For anyone who cares, i contacted Tech Support and its considered a Bug so there was nothing i could do about it atm.

Heres the Quote from their Email:

"Thank you for contacting the PlayNC Customer Support team. We have received your bug report and will be transferring your ticket to our Quality Assurance (QA) Team for further review. Once your report has been reviewed and logged, your ticket will be moved to "Closed" status without a response. If you wish to update your bug report, please create a new ticket and reference the ticket number shown in the subject line of this e-mail.

Our QA Team is unable to provide status updates on bug reports. This allows them to focus on quickly addressing bug reports and other issues in the game, so that our players can experience the smoothest game play possible."

So i guess now i can just hope that i can enable the Options in future Builds.
  9. Hi, i actually started to wonder why i cant enable Bloom / Depth of Field / Desaturation at all. In the Options its just on N/A.

I have read that FSAA with ATI and Bloom doesnt work, so i turned FSAA off but i still couldnt select above mentioned Options.

ATM i run the Game in the following Configuration:

    1680x1000 Windowed Mode
Suppress Extra Player FX - disabled
Suppress FX when Close - disabled
    Particle Physics Quality - high
World Texture Quality - Very High
Character Texture Quality - Very High
    World Detail - 100%
    Character Detail - 100%
    Max Particle Count - 50000
    Vertical Sync - enabled
FSAA - 4x (as i said, turned that off for testing)
    Shadows - enabled
    Use Geomatric Buffers - enabled
    Anisoptric Filtering - 16x
    Texture Crispness - Smooth
    Shader Quality - High
    Water Effects - High Quality

    My System is:

    AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+
    MSI K9N Neo V3
    4GB OCZ DDR2-800 RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3870 512MB with Catalyst 8.6
    Realtek HD Onboard Sound
    Windows Vista x64 SP1

    Hope someone can help me

    Thanks,

    Zera
