    INV/SS Build

Those are impressive numbers but come on. Thats overkill. I have only died a couple of times with this build while playing the Dr. Kahn TF. That was due to a team wipe when playing Reichsman.

I agree that i could have focused a little more on damage, but I wasn't to concerned about it. Rage provides plenty of boost for me and holding agro isn't a problem.

Thanks for suggestions and nice guide CMA. I haven't run across that one before.

    INV/SS Build

I saw someone post some of this build a while ago. It took me a little while to build it but I finally finished it out with some changes. I am posting to see if there is anything i could have done differently that maybe i missed. This mostly focused on defense bonuses.

  3. im not trying to be mean but once the checksumming is complete you will need to click the button in the bottom right hand corner to continue....I think it says I AGREE and then it changes to ACCEPT for the game to start....are you seeing those options?
  4. I thought the same so i actually downloaded both the x86 and x64 versions of the hotifx. The x64 started installing before it gave me that error message. The x86 wouldn't even run. I hope that isn't a sign of yet another issue with Vista.
  5. I wasn't able to install the Hotfix located at the start of this guide. Vista said I didn't need it. Not sure on that one. However, I did search for Vista SP2 on microsofts website. It is beta however since I installed it I have been crash free and without dirver errors.
  6. there is a forum post somewhere with pictures. Really good ones too. I think in the player guides forums.
  7. Bought mine I am at work and can't play with it. Can't wait till i get home. I got a blaster that is dying for a new costume.
  8. There are so many things that go into making COX great. And just because they lack on one small part of the hole doesn't mean everyone is going to jump ship right away, just because in CO I can make my fire power green or whatever.

The content will have to be amazing as well. The stories and gameplay will have to be inovative.

I think the people who are saying they will jump ship before even seeing the game are the same people that are so easily distracted by shiny objects.
  9. Not to mention the amount of upkeep. Even if you devote one entire issue to it any problems found would probably require one entire issue for bug fixes in the future. As much as I would love to see power customization I would love even more to see the wonderful content they put out.
  10. This is going to be very useful to me as I just started a /FF controller. Great guide and I hope many people read and become aware of how useful we really are.
  11. So I have gone back to replay some missed story archs. Is it just me or do the bad guys in the missions have crazy range. I mean they are seeing and hitting me the second I see them at the end of a long hall way.
  12. Gotta say I really love the new issue so far. Especially the new difficulty selections when playing the missed missions.

Also, since everyone else seems to be discussing the free respec I also shall voice my opinion.

I am glad that the devs are waiting a week. The waiting period gives people who have other obligations besides COH and don't have time to read all of the forum posts and details of a new power, which is crazy, a chance to test drive the new powers and then respec once they have a good feel for it. It also stops people from blowing through their free respec then getting upset about a powerset and blaming the devs for everything.

If you have one toon who has used all three terra volte respecs and any of the veteran respecs you should give up and start over. You have gone horribly wrong at some point and should just delete your train wrecked toon.
