Game Stuck on updater

Hi im new and having one miserable time trying to get COH to work. I just bought the architect edition off of steam. Downloaded activated account. I click on the icon to boot it up and it goes to updater. After checksumming it finishes and then says project City of Heroes and leaves me on that with no sort of game launching.

Ive browsed round the forum help here but im not sure how to fix it with steam. Can someone offer some help?

If you have any skinning programs running like Windowblinds or the default reskinning that comes with Alienware computers then tell it not to reskin either of the cityofheroes programs.

If you have a graphics tablet attached then uninstall it and see if that works.

If you have PeerGuardian running then turn it off.

im not trying to be mean but once the checksumming is complete you will need to click the button in the bottom right hand corner to continue....I think it says I AGREE and then it changes to ACCEPT for the game to start....are you seeing those options?
