Hi all!

Just reactivated my account after a 2 year break and i'm looking for a super group on Freedom.
After playing wow since the US beta i just had enough of all the grinding and... grinding. Been trying to find a game to replace wow for quite a while and found CoH to be the winner. I never had so much fun playing an MMO. Wow just took to much of my time and i found the community to be far to immature. CoH is just what i'm looking for atm, and i'm sticking to it.

So since i'm fairly new to CoH it would be nice to have a Super Group to join. So if any of you are recruiting new players i would love to join you. I think this would be a great way to learn all the aspects of the game and make me stay a CoH player

I think it was freedom. But why do i have to download a new client? I mean, isn't the game the same? I understand that there are different player bases, but the client should be the same.
So if i want to play on the EU servers i have to buy a new account?

Hi.

Just reactivated my account after being away for almost 2 years. After playing alot of MMO's i want to go back to CoH since it's the game iv'e had the most fun playing..
Anyways, just installed the EU client via the new ncSoft installer. And when i try to log in to the game i get the invalid username/password thing. I've read some posts on the forums that changing the name on the CoHupdater will fix the problem, but since i used the new installer the CoHupdater file isn't in the game folder. I just can't figure this out at all. I live in europe, and have the EU client installed. Tried to remove the EU in the properties of the updater, but then it wants to download the US version.. When i log in to the forums i can't log in if i check for europe, but works if i check North America. What is going on here? Is the EU and US version of the game two different games?? Do i have an US account since i can't login to the forums when Europe is checked?
I've tried to contact ncSoft but they don't seem to bother answering..

Does this mean i have to download and install the US client? In that case, why?

This MMO is a veteran in the market, and i find it kind of funny that just starting the game is so hard..

I was really looking forward to playing CoH again, but now after tearing out the little hair i have left i just want to deactivate my account wich i allready paid for and just find another game to play..
