  1. yes it put me at ease a bit but i only got this after a week insisting through emails that something was wrong (and i wasnt crazy) and the getting the black scorpion thread link about alignment badges. But in the end at least we know something.
  2. My situation is similar, my Warshade toon is almost 6 years old and i have done all 3 Terra Volta trials and as a vigilante i was on a treespec and recieved no badge. I expected as such. Then i finally made the switch to full villain and ran the 2nd and 3rd treespec's. No badge either time.

After almost a week of going back and forth with support this is what i got from the GM in support, I just want my badges! =( :

That's where the problem currently lies, and it seems to have more to do with the fact that the in-game mechanic for tracking respec badges isn't working as intended than anything else. Let me give you an example to clarify what I mean:

My Scrapper, Joe Bob, runs the hero-side respec trials at level 24 and 34 (skipping the level 44 one) and gets both of the respec badges and the respecs for those trial completions. Then Joe Bob switches sides and becomes a villain. After doing that, he runs the villain respec trials at all three levels (24, 34 and 44). Joe Bob only gets the villain-side respec badge for the level 44 trial because that's the one he didn't get on the hero-side before switching (remember, he didn't run that trial on the hero-side before switching). So in total, Joe Bob has these respec badges from both sides:

*Stalwart Medallion (Hero, level 24 Terra Volta respec badge)
*Statesman Star (Hero, level 34 Terra Volta respec badge)
*Thorn Usurper (Villain, level 44 Tree of Thorns respec badge)

Do you see how the effects are being totaled?

The mechanics, as they're currently working, don't seem to be comprehensively including all of the respec badges from both sides. Instead, they seem to be mutually excluding badges based on what's already been completed on the opposite side. As was noted in the discussion thread we linked earlier, this probably relates to alignment requirements to some extent.

No, we don't have an ETR on when this will be fixed. Even so, this issue has been reported and classified as a bug. Hopefully a fix can be made sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, you're welcome to keep an eye on that thread for any updates to the matter as they unfold.
