If there is still room on the Virtue STF for 7pm sunday, that works for me also.

Wow, Virtue really knows how to chain up a joke and drag it behind a pickup truck.
I was co-owner(and decorator) of "The Dread", you're very welcome.
We figured out, sadly after 3 years, that we could name our VG the same name as our SG with clever use of capital "I"s without the hassle of explaining it... like everytime someone needs to be invited to a team with one of those 1337 H4x0r names. (ex: yeiiow wizard aka Yellow Wizard, was my super frustrating attempt)
Goodluck with the VG, if nothing else you have a great lair with enough prestige to last you many, many months. Hopefully we're settled in now, as this will be our 2nd base that we gave away. (re: Aggravated Assault - Blueside) -
I have 4 Tanks(50, 43, 39, 38)and have been playing since CoH Beta (off & on), have no problems with Gauntlet what-so-ever.
Survivability: Tanks are my favorite for survivability, which they do better than ANY other AT in the game short of purple IO setted Scrappers. So increasing that would be kinda silly and as someone else mentioned a "not-gonna-happen" step backwards(i6) for the Devs. AVs have gotten significantly more difficult, but how many of those are you going to be soloing? I'm thinking none. Even if you can survive solo, you're definitely not going to do nearly enough damage.
Damage: The best damage I've seen on a Tank is Super Strength setup for recharge... Hasten(3 rchg), Rage(3 rchg), Knockout Blow(1acc, 1endrchg, 1endrdc, 3dmg) & Footstomp(1acc, 1endrdc, 2 dmg, 2 rchg). It is possible to attain triple Rage which translates into 250(aoe) dmg Footstomp, 1000 dmg KoB & 500 dmg Haymaker for short periods of time. (ref: 50 INV/SS) Shield Defense/SS also comes close when built for recharge adding in ShieldCharge.
Taunt/Tauntless: A tank without Taunt is going to have less control hands-down. As mentioned, Blasters will get themselves killed in a rapid fashion if given the opportunity.(experience speaking) I ALWAYS take Taunt on my Tank as it IS HIS JOB. Do I think they should get it for free? NO. Do Stalkers get Hide for free? NO. Point being they are not the only class that has a "power-tax".
Other: As for Tanks being the least played class, somehow I doubt that. Obviously a statement by someone who doesn't play one very often, especially during prime times, because finding a team that doesn't have a Tank already can sometimes be challenging. 9 times out of 10 a team will not invite more than one Tank unless they are desparate for teammates. (I personally avoid playing Defenders like the plague being as "Controllers/Corruptors can do the Support" and "Blasters/Corruptors do more Damage". That's MY preference however and thank you to those who enjoy the Defender class, you are appreciated.) -

I will happily delete a Hecatomb: Chance for Negative Energy Damage IO, just as easily as I once tore apart a Mox Ruby and an Ancestral Recall in front of a group of other Magic players.
It's only influence!

Deleting a piece of digital code(Hecatomb) is one thing, but tearing apart a Mox Ruby? Instead of just selling it for $150-400 ... REAL cold-hard-cash MONEY? Sorry, but that's just REALLY stupid, at the very least you could've given it to someone as an overpriced present. -
Tanker is by far my favorite AT based on Survivability and usually Theme.
INV/SS - 50 (my main since CoH Beta)
INV/EM - 42
SD/WM - 37
SD/AXE - 36
I've enjoyed /INV the most, the set is just incredibly tough, especillay now that they changed the Unyielding defense debuff.
Shield Defense was more for theme, but having experienced Shield Charge and watching the animations... I'm sold. It also holds its own remarkably well, thoughI'd argue not as well as /INV.
I have tried /FA & /IA, I didn't care for either and have seen very poor performance from /DA on ITFs so I likely won't be going any of those routes. I have seen good /FA & /IA tankers, but I don't think I'm willing to put the effort into it.
As for Axe/ and WM/, I like them both equally and they seem to do quite a bit of single target damage with Knockdown & Stun respectively. Warmace in particular is just amazing to watch "CLOBBER" someone.
I've only done /WP on a Scrapper (BS/WP) and as others have said it pretty much fixes any & all Endurance problems long before level 20. The RttC taunt aura can be a bit rough on a Scrapper however.
I've done SS/SD on a Brute (44) and it is AMAZING, even ifhe does 50% ofthe damage that the Brute does it'll be a definite toss up between that and /SA for the next Tank I make. -
I'd have to agree that most of television right now is crap coated crap with a crap filled center. I come to that conclusion because 50% or more of the programming is 'realty television', which was kinda cool back when it was original... The Real World, Road Rules & even Fear Factor. Now it's simply boring and repeatitive. "you're fired!, 'get out of my kitchen", "I'm a cougar", "I'm a bachelor(ette)"... blah blah blah no one cares man.
I miss Dead Like Me and Farscape... a lot!
The Dead Like Me movie was pretty cool, but it just leaves more loose ends likely to not be answered. It was a different Daisy, but I don't think she was better or worse than the original. *shrug*
I'm really going to miss seeing Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, it was one of my current favorites and definitely had potential. Kinda silly to axe it immediately after the release of Terminator 4, but whatever.
I thought Scrubs was going to be dropped as well, but rumor has it that they are going to make the most recent interns the main cast of sorts. I'm thinking I'll stick to my 8 seasons and close that book. The interns were funny, but without the main cast? Probably not so much.
My current line up...
Scrubs, Lost, Big Bang Theory, Mythbusters and Legend of the Seeker
(I'm not sure if Mythbusters is still on-air or not, been watching old episodes on the web.) -
Great guide!
I have a 50 BS/WP on Virtue, Sci-Fi Samurai. He was one of the easiest and most fun characters I leveled to 50th to date. Having WP as a secondary also means that you don't suffer from the usual BS Endurance woes and have a much better defense than a Regen does wihtout the use of power pools.
I agree Slash should only be taken to fill out your attack chain at early levls until Disembowel comes along. The ONLY reason it helps even then, is because it has a Fast recharge rate.
Parry is a mandatory power! Take it! Take it YESTERDAY!
That is all. -

Elude is a beautiful thing.

Personally I have tried ELUDE and it was nothing but a complete disappointment. Also let me mention right now that all my input is PvE, not PvP.
First off I already have Quickness which makes her move incredibly fast running/flying ( to the point where I skipped my travel power before temp travel powers were even available until mid-20's) and I hate having Super Speed on my "melee" characters, to include Speed Boost. I don't build for it, I don't like it, and run by attacks are not how a "melee" in PvE works IMO.
Second, everything and anything with a power remotely resembling "TOTAL FOCUS" (aka Jumping Haymaker) can hit and one-shot you right through Elude, even while running the 3 toggles, all 3 auto powers, and hover... all triple slotted for defense... BAM! DEAD! (/respec *gone*) The first time it happend it was a "Crey Power Tank", then a "Paragon Protector", then "Snaptooth". Anything that has that type of attack will hit you, even if it's level 10 and you're level 50, the primary example being the Redcaps in Croatoa and the Christmas Event Mission, mind you these aren't scary and don't one-shot you like the mobs mentioned above, but they still hit... lots of luck hitting a level 50 in PI at level 10. *grin*
Long story short and all ranting aside, my experience with ELUDE has been relatively poor and the speed increasing effects are undesirable when you've already taken Quickness. Again this point-of-view is PvE, not PvP.
