  1. Tuesdays actually work out well for me. I'd be down again.

    @.sketch (Lutari - Archery/Time Corruptor)
  2. Global: @.sketch
Gender: Isn't everyone on the internet male wether they actually are or not?
    Age: 27
    Location: Omaha, Nebraska
SG Affiliation: Blue: Defenders of Paragon / Red: None
Most Recognizable Server Toon: Shatter Skitt (DM/EA Rogue Brute) / Lutari (Arch/Time Hero Corruptor).
  3. Just throwing my hat in the ring. I usually play reasonably late, so I understand.

Feel free to message me if you happen to see me online. @.sketch or the Toon "Shatter Skitt" or "Lutari" I'd be happy to join in on a trial if I'm free. Though I hate Keyes, heh. It's (as mentioned earlier) gimicky and.. dumb. Heh.
  4. Sounds like fun, mind if I tag along?

    @.sketch: Lutari (Archery/Time Corruptor)
  5. I wanted to post some positives on this train of thought -

Some of you may have seen a character or two of mine around - I've been playing on and off for a long time. Send a wave to Shatter Skitt (50 Rogue Brute) or Lutari (32 Hero Corruptor) if you happen to see me in game, I've never really posted much in the forums

Here's the thing. I'm a night owl - I play late, and I've always played late. Like.. quite late.

So the things everyone got "tired of" I never actually -got- to do. Until now.

Lusca? Forget it. No VIP player wants to do it. It's long, difficult and they've done it 300 times. Free to play people: OO, giant monster! Can we kill it!?

Low level TF's can be easier (though I think some of those can be signature arcs) simply because there are more lower level players now.

I don't always just want to do trials and such at 50.

Sporadic players like me missed out on some of the fun things everyone got tired of and doesn't do anymore. It's nice to be able to kill a GM at 2 in the morning and get that badge I never got.

Young blood does this, glad to have some around.

    Cheers everyone!

The hope is that they realize the problem, and have either hired or assigned someone to rewrite or at least clean up the text system(s) as part of the big Going Rogue cleanup. It's possible that part of the "character creator 2.0" rumored for GR includes an entirely new or rewritten text system for bios among other things, and that they don't want to waste time trying to fix something that is known to be twitchy and has already been replaced in the builds they're working with internally.

That is the hope. I would just like some redname confirmation on any of the few threads about this issue. That it is known about and being addressed.
  7. I had a really hard time getting the game to run in any way playable on a GMA 950 or similar. I have COV running on a laptop with 3gig of ram and an ATI x1200 on reasonably low settings that runs OK.

It will probably start, but I doubt you will have any kind of decent experience.

My question is "has anyone /bugged this and gotten any sort of answer back yet about it being fixed?"

My support reply was "We have received reports of this happening and Quality Assurance has confirmed it and made the Development Team aware. The responsibility is theirs to make any changes from here on out...."

    My response back was:

"Thank you for contacting the The City of Heroes/Villains Support Team. The Development Team is currently working on a resolution for this issue. Once a fix has been completed and tested, it will be made available in a future patch to the live servers."

    Not specific, but hopeful.
