Yeah, I agree with what was said above that we don't own the server. It's important to note that it's very much *unofficial*. A bunch of us in the last weeks of beta voted and decided we wanted to name Virtue the Unofficial RP Server and I think that's where most of us have ended up. However, there's no reason to expect that everyone on the server is going to be RPing 100% of the time nor that everyone even knows anything about some unofficial RP server.
For my part, I intend to RP, but I'm not always interested in being IC and "actively RPing" 100% of the time. Sometimes, I just want to get to my next level. Sometimes I'm just soloing and I'm following my little storylines, zooming from one mission to the next, and maybe RPing a bit in my head (interior monologue kind of thing). If that's the case, you're not going to notice anything different about me from anyone else around me. Also, I guess I don't assume that any random person I run into on the streets is going to want someone to come up to them and start randomly RPing with them. If someone says something to me, in-character, I'll certainly RP back. But I imagine I'll rarely initiate except with people I know (for example, those in the RP SuperGroup I'm a part of....see my sig, but be warned that our forums are EZBoard and are apparently down right now).
However, each and every character I create has a full bio in place before I leave the Tutorial. I think that's one way you can identify some RPers...check their bios and see if:
A) They have one at all
B) It looks to be a serious one and not just some random silliness (though, who knows, random silliness might still = RPer)
I think that one of the best ways you're going to find consistent RP is to hook up with a RP SG. That way you can set up teams over SG channel and RP your way through missions together. And you'll know everyone there is in it for the RP.
