  1. I imagine witnessing first hand what happen when the sleep is cancelled (especially for the heal and the blaster) should be a good way to learn to let the sleeping dog (or nictus) lie. After all, people can learn not to AoE when the nictus are too close.

And I noticed Romulus has an unpleasant habit to jog his pain off, so it's good to know he can be immobilized decently easily.

On the sleep, what kind of retaliation can be expected when renewing the mesmerize ? Are the victims allowed a strike before getting back to their nap? If not, one mind troller or dominator might hold two or even three of the nictus. Otherwise I fear the retaliation might be too ugly. Someone has first hand info on this?

Using Surveillance here are the Note how my Surveillance only took out from Base Defense but none of the typed values like it normally does. Also Surveillance did not subtract any Resistance from it, proving they are completely immune to Resistance debuffs as well.

Do the Nictus enjoy the Purple Triangles? Do they have any Status Effect Resistance ? If not, it seems a single target sleep could seriously trivialize the encounter.

I want to set up something horrible, stop the war between the Rularuu and the Knives of Artemis; because I think that mission would be pure hell for just about every archtype.

I would love to get in on that mission!!!

Agreed, I think half the funs going to be trying to come up with the biggest PITA mission for your team .

I'm thinking of a joint Malta/Carnie one for starters .

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sappers, Sorcerors and Succubi, oh my!

    [/ QUOTE ]

No no, you have to customize it! I'll make a mission where every single minion is a sapper, every LT is a fortunata seer or night widow, every boss is a paragon protector, gunslinger or ring mistress and every 3rd spawn has a ballista EB.

It's a 'kill all and prevent the boss to run' mission.

    Said boss is Biff.
Spawns are 1 nullifier, 3 sappers.
  4. Devs said 'no emp as-is for villain'. So you automatically infer 'villain always get the (lightning) shaft' ? Fortitude could easily be renamed 'infuriate' or 'berserkize' (yes, I do have a PhD in Word Creation) and put in a reworked set for Corruptor.

Yes, villain are going to walk painfully after pvp in issue 12. Not like it wasn't already the case, was it?

But I expect in a future (and hopefully nearby) issue that villains will get powers like Fortitude, Clear mind and Recovery Aura.

I think the 'build your own mission' qualify for the use of the word 'flabbergasted', which I am.

I tried my share of mmo (DAoC, E&B, AC2, EvE, WoW, SWG, GW), and there's only one where I spent 33 months of hard spent money, and it's here. I surprise myself with being regularly impressed by the devs, their ideas and the implementation. I'm not always happy with everything, but nowhere else did I wonder as often "How come nobody provided that already??? It's so stupidly obvious, it should be available in just every mmo!?"

Warhammer Online and AoC will have to wait open beta before I even look at them...

    Curse you.

You spoiled me. /em raise fist in anger.

So flabbergasted you made your first post on the forums. Welcome!

    Well, yeah
I've been lurking for almost 3 years, and you know how it is ... camel...straw... back, that sort of thing.

I claim the rights to make the first "Slap Hardcase into the middle of next week" mission.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, Arbiter Daos is going to get his due
