Either way, that's awesome. Definitely getting filed away for future use.

Good suggestions, however, I do like my power selection. They've been the same through the last 3 respecs which were minor changes like dropping SS for Hoarfrost. I've pretty much become one with them lol
I've had both Snap Shot and Boost Range in the past and eventually ended up dropping them. Never had a problem with range. I don't do a lot of soloing as Gibson and I are usually playing together, so the odd mob that gets through him and all the way to me, I queue up a Power Thrust, knock it back to him, and that's pretty much it lol
I dropped Snap Shot later after I got my recharge up, 3 powers usable during a mez was overkill. Mez = Aimed + Power Thrust, rinse, repeat. And that of course is assuming that Gibson hasn't already gone crazy mad scrapper and killed the offending mob (every blaster should carry a pocket scrapper with them lol). And I do always try to have break frees on me for extreme cases (read bosses/AVs, etc). I don't know, that may break some blaster code somewhere or something, but I do it any way.
Although I have thought about dropping Acrobatics for something and grabbing the Karma IO, like you said. So, here's the question, will that be enough knockback protection to run the Battle Maiden map? 4 pts opposed to 9? As it stands, I don't remember the last time I got knocked down and that's exactly how I like it. That's by no means the only thing I do with this character, but, since she is my main source of income to fund my army of alts, that is the one thing she *must* still be able to do....without *any* knockbacks...and I really can't stress *any* enough here.
That is an awesome build though, and I appreciate your taking the time to read mine and post, Santorican. -

Quote:That one will go to hasten then lolI don't think you need accuracy there either. You already have 95% accuracy against +4 enemies without using Aim or Build Up. If you say you don't need endrdx, there's always the option of taking the slot and putting it elsewhere.
Again, thank you -
Quote:I toyed with loosing some of my primaries for Conserve Power and some of the other leadership powers but in the end Stamina resolved my end issues (although I can see how Conserve Power would help with fly, my characters with fly are total end hogs because I always forget to use hover in combat ) and I just like my Blazing Arrow and Stunning Arrow too much lol,I have and Arch/Energy and my build is a bit different from yours, I dont have mids because im on a mac so ill just list my the powers i took.
Not to mention that the Bone Smasher/Total Focus combo is *AWESOME* if you get in to a tight area or are fighting something resistant to lethal, quick disorient with Bone Smasher, devastate em with Total Focus at your leisure.
How do you like the fire epic? I have a fire/ice blaster coming up that will be in that level range before long. I've got pretty much every type of blaster in a variety of levels, but even though some are pretty close to epic levels, Saj is thus far the only one that's made it and I'd like to try a different one next. -
Quote:Awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to go through the whole thing. This is exactly what I was looking for.Don't 6-slot Apocalaypse; the 6th piece bonus isn't of much use. 5-slot it (all but the Dam: Superior) and use the 6th slot to round out the accuracy, endurance and recharge.
I'm not sure why you 5-slotted Devastation since the 5th piece bonus isn't useful. Consider 4 Devastation/2 Thunderstrike (for the recovery bonus) instead, or 5 Decimations (HP and recharge bonus).
Put an LotG +7.5 recharge in Combat Jumping if you can afford it instead.
Ranged shot doesn't need to be 6-slotted. You can take out the proc - it won't fire often since this is not a frequently used attack.
Rain of Arrows is badly overslotted for damage/accuracy. Note that like all Blaster nukes it has abnormally high base accuracy, so you can skimp on accuracy slotting. You also need a ton more recharge in it; it is your best AoE attack and the best of all Blaster nukes so you want it available as often as possible. I would slot it 5 Positron's Blast (all but the Acc/Dam) and 1 Lv50 Recharge common IO. Consider buying 5 Ragnaroks (all but the proc) if you can as a long-term upgrade, since it's pretty much superior in very way.
I'd change your frozen armor slotting to 5 Red Fortunes/1 LotG 7.5. You lose the regen bonus (which doesn't benefit you much) and gain 5% recharge bonus.
Hibernate doesn't need any slotting; I'd put just 1 recharge in it.
I'd try to pull some slots from elsewhere to 3-slot Hasten with recharges if at all possible, even if it costs you recharge bonuses elsewhere. You're already close to a perma-hasten build (176% global recharge with 3-slotted Hasten), so I'd shoot for that.
If you have endurance problems consider a Performance Shifter proc in Stamina, as well as Miracle and Numina's uniques in Health.
Looking back at it now, I'm honestly not sure why I 5-slotted Devastion because you're absolutely right, all I wanted out of that set was up to the 2% damage bonus and the hold proc.
And great advice on RoA, I've got it now where it's recharge is almost exactly the same as my Aim and Build Up, but it is very slightly behind. Someone watching me wouldn't even notice, but the extra common recharge IO should make it perfect. And yes, Ragnarok is definitely on my wish list lol
As for the Apocalypse, I actually don't have all 6 yet, just 5, I think I'm missing the Dam/End one. The power itself is currently 6 slotted though. That's the only piece I'm missing from the entirety of the posted build, forgot to take it out before I posted heh
Is there any specific enhancement you'd recommend for the last slot? Or just a common accuracy IO? It's pretty damn fast already, and I don't have much problem with endurance so out of the 3 that'd be my choice, unless you have a suggestion for a set enhancement that might be better.
Again, thanks for taking the time and for the great feedback - much appreciated! -
So, I've been playing this character for a while, was one of my first, lost count of the number of respecs she's had at this point. This build pretty much evolved around the theory that the more damage you do, and the faster you do it, there's nothing left alive to need defense for
Never been much of a numbers cruncher myself, but, I know some of you are, so I decided to see if I could get some feedback, comments, criticism, suggestions, whatever lol
The levels where the powers were taken should be pretty accurate....honestly not sure about the slots, copied build to Mids from the game, not the other way around heh

Well, I do realize I'm not the first person to say this but give me a break, I don't get to the forums often :P
Add another tick to the opinion counter that says the day job powers do not last long enough. I'm referring specifically the base teleporter power you get from the Rapid Response Member accolade. I've had it for eh...maybe a couple of weeks. I've yet to have it charge up for more than 10 mins of usage. Admittedly, it's on my main character and thusly the one I play the most. By the same logic, it's the one this power would be most valuable to me on.
I was really excited when I got it. My base is ever changing - whenever I have an idea flash, I pop over to the base and make it happen. The idea of having a power that I could hit and be there in seconds was very appealing. So far, I've used it once...the day it first popped up in my tray...right after I logged in...when I was testing it out....since then, it's always been timed out by the time I want to use it.
Then...what if I want other day job badges? I don't even get my 5 mins lol
Suggestion: Instead of building up time....maybe build up uses? Honestly, 3-5 mins is pretty useless. I realize it's not like I had to do any real work to get this power....but....if it's barely usable....what's the point?
