I've done 4 Mayhem missions.
I saw Mynx, Valkyrie, (I think) Synapse, and one other... I can't remember the name (wasn't a common CoH NPC).
These missions are da bomb. -
If I'm not mistaken, Aggressive Attack switches their mode to Aggressive. I think you want to grab the "All Attack" button from the advanced tray. They will attack your target but will remain in Passive Mode. They will come back to you when the target is dead, regardless of any other thing going on around you.
Let me know what you find out. -
I set my pets to Passive. All pet problems are gone. They don't even listen to other MMs anymore, where they might on Defensive or Aggresive. But, now I have to target and give attack orders for every enemy. It's not that hard. And, my point here, is I can't use the Bodyguard Mode while pets are Passive.
I'm telling you guys, try it. Put ALL pets on passive and when you respawn a pet you have to remember to reset it to passive. I use the "All Pets" actions in the advanced control box, and I even drag those "All Pets" controls to my tray. When you use "All Pets" controls and keep them in Passive, they mind just fine, every time, in every situation.
They NEVER grab additional aggro, and they always take 1 target down at a time, which is a very good way to do it anyway. Don't knock it until you try it. -
I didn't read all 15 pages, I just skimmed and didn't see this mentioned. If it was brought up and discussed earlier, simply tell me the page number and I'll go look. Thank you.
I run my pets on Passive Mode ALL the time. They mind better, and they don't attack anything I don't want them to. The targeted enemy falls faster so I can reduce the number of bad guys attacking me faster, one at a time. This has been a VERY effective strategy for me using Robots/Dark.
I added "All Attack," "All Go To," and "All Follow" to the tray so it's not as hard to have them attack each target as it sounds. I auto acquire target unless I have a specific target in mind, and the specific target is usually the first one I attack.
Are there any plans to simply add another setting to run in Bodyguard Mode so I can set to Passive AND Bodyguard? I feel I'm being penalized for play style. -
I think the Accuracy debuff that accompanies a Dark attack is sweet for Stalkers. I like the Dark Attack set so far, with one exception. Is there an attack set for Stalkers that misses more? It's routine to miss 3 or 5 times in a row.
SHEEESH.
I have 3 Green Accuracy TO's and I miss miss miss. I'm fighting even con and +1 mobs.
I'll have to comment on Dark Armor later, when I get more than 2 powers (I took attacks the first 4 choices).
