Thanks for supposing that my enthusiasm for something and my want to represent it in this game is a sure sign of my being a poor roleplayer. What is there to steal? I used a name. I didn't pass it off as my own, and stated my intention to distance the SG from that which it was based off.

I never had chance to read the Original Post, but i'd of thought they'd be nothing wrong with tweaking your idea, or maybe wiping the slate clean and coming up with something new.

Its nothing to worry about, I'm not so concerned about dropping it, and like you say, one can always pick oneself up and try something new.

On a somewhat related note, I'm currently reading a book about Shakespeare, who apparently (along with his contemporaries) ripped entire passages and lines out of previous works to chuck in his plays. Anyhow, thanks for the comment, I'll not post here again and hopefully a mod can get rid of it. Meanwhile I'll go have some fun in game. See you there.

AFAIK the ELE aren't copyrighted, nor are any members. Even if there is some issue later on, I can change the name and still retain every other aspect of the concept. Its pretty generic anyway. Thanks for the concern.

The Attestant was spotted at Pocket-D last night, generally making conversation with it's patrons, inquiring about local supergroups and also asking about the club and it's origins.

He was later spotted talking with DJ-Zero, and remarked rather loudly "...but we tried that! We simply couldn't balance the z-axis coefficients without a negative 4th dimension waveform!".

The Attestant (Magic Blaster) - When faithless physicist Aaron Rethe became the test pilot of the newly developed trans-dimensional exploration suit, little did he know he would return with the word of God...literally!

With the knowledge of the true name of the creator resonating in his head, Aaron is capable of immense destruction, just by uttering a single syllable!

Adapting his suit to hold his new powers in check, The Attestant has vowed to start a new life, fighting those who would sek to control forces not meant for them.

Perpetual Motion (Technology Brute) - The secret of unlimited energy has eluded man since the dawn of scientific endeavor, but a chance encounter with an alien crystal helped W.E.T to design a prototype battle suit which runs on willpower alone. But a disgruntled janitor at W.E.T, desperate to prove himself a better man than his job title would suggest, stole the suit before final testing could begin.

Now under the moniker of Perpetual Motion this anonymous man knows the sky's the limit, and the only obstacle he ever needs to overcome is his own ambition.

Two notes about The Attestant: Firstly, he can talk, but using a voice synthesizer which allows him to speak by thinking. Secondly, when I say God, I don't mean any god in specific.

Hello to everyone on Union. I'm a new player to City of Heroes, but a long time MMO fan and roleplayer. Having quit WoW recently after playing since release I'm hoping to find some like minded people about on the server.

So far I have two characters, a hero named The Attestant and a villain called Perpetual Motion. I'm hoping to find either or both of them an RP based supergroup, so if anyone needs new members, you can count me in. Hope to see you in game.
