  1. I thought all powersets could have dualbuilds? Or are you just refering to the fact that a widow can either go fortunata or night widow build, which are a bit different from each other than say an em/shield tank and an em/shield tank?
  2. I ended up going the night widow route. I do enjoy melee more, but I have to say that the lack of any viable aoe kinda sucks. Though I don't have spin yet, and I am planing to get dark obliteration.

On the other hand, I am built like a tank. At 26 with mindlink running, I am allready at melee defense cap, and at 38% with aoe and ranged. 23% of this is shared with my team as well, making it even better. With maneuvers from leadership I think I will be close enough to the ranged and aoe cap as well (1.4% with SO's), that I might skip taking mask presence and elude. Though it will make me more reliant on getting mind link perma with IO's.
  3. I am a player returning to coh, and a lot of things have changed while I've been away. At any rate, I made a blood widow for fun just to see what a veat is like, and found that I rather liked the character to a large degree as well. What intrigues me the most is the team buffs, but both fortunata and night widow get access to these to the same degree, albeit mind link being not so perma on the fortunata.

Basicly I just want to be the bigges asset I can be to the team I am in. Is one better in a team setting than the other? Right now I am leaning slightly more to night widow for the only reason that I think psi powers in this game look kinda weird. Which is also why I went with a plan/fire domi in the old days, rather than a psi one. However, I would forgo this if the fortunata makes up for her mind link handicap by having a strong enough aoe and domination capability to make up for it.

Also, if I try fortunata, can I respec to night widow later, or do I have to make a whole new widow character?

Regarding eviscerate on night widow, I see a lot of people dropping it. It seems pretty good on paper, but is the animation on it just too long that people don't bother?
