I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but when you have your shield and or weapon out the costume change emotes don't work. What I also noticed, I don't know if its a bug or not, that when you read someones fortune it doesn't always work even when they except it. Just thought I would say something, if this has already been mentioned sorry ...:-)

I've noticed the same thing too. And sometimes even after turning all toggles off, my shield stays on, preventing the animation.
Ex, could you confirm it for us? And if you can, tell us if anything will be done about it in the short term. I /petitioned(technical issues) it but did not get a response. -
Hi Jay,
COSTUME BUG REPORT
The lower half of trenchcoats disappear when my character is swimming in water. I don't have a screen shot but this is easily reproduceable in any pool of water.
Edit: just realised that it seems to be only for tatteresd trenchcoat. Will post a screenshot soon.
Edit 2: The screenshots as below

Next, it'll be posts claiming that the Devs are hatching a Nemesis plot.

Hi guys again,
Just to put up some defence for the Devs. *toggles [Grant Cover] *
I'm not saying they are right about everything. I work in a big organisation and I can understand the frustraton of being in one. There are rules and processes to follow to run smoothly. I believe the Devs for CoX are not free from red tape and all. I also believe and hope in the innate goodness of the Devs wanting to make this a good product. When I mentioned meet, discuss, decide in the last post, I didn't mean Devs meet players. I meant the different "Departmental Heads" meet up, fight for what they feel should be changed and change them.
If the assumption is that ALL Devs are out to screw us, then I guess there is not need for arguments/grouses/whatever.
Sure, there have been bugs, wrong spelling, mission arrows not corrected (Argot Burwhot or something IIRC) but it's something we can all live with for now. Do we still get xp? Yes. Do we still get merits? Yes. Do we level up with no bugs? Yes. I think these basic requirements are good enough for me for now, till the bugs work out.
And thanks to Back Aley Brawler for the long reply. Appreciate it and shows that the Devs are concerned.
And cheers. I hope I did not offend anyone with this post. Now that makes it $0.04 for this post.
*clicks [One With The Shield] in anticipation of the backblast for the next 2 min*
edited to change OWTS from toggle to click. Been a while since I last used it. -

They didn't listen to pvpers, I guess you badgers are next on the list of customers that really don't matter to NCsoft. Sad, very sad. Not the people I enjoyed doing business with for the past 3 years. A new direction, most definitely; ignore your current players hoping to attract some larger mystical group. That's been tried fyi; it fails. Learn from others' mistakes or simply repeat them and join them in the dustbin.

Jaaax, you keep saying you'll quit but you're still posting in the forums. Would it not be more useful if you gave constructive feedback instead of ranting about quitting CoX? The wall of text being generated now is blocking out every other Forum posters' suggestion.
If the Devs listened to every single person's suggestions/wants/needs/giefs and implements them all, I'm sure there'll be loads of balance problems. So let's wait out for a response from the Devs before we pull out our stakes and hammers and crucify them before they have a chance meet, discuss, decide and reply. -
With the merit system, I find that the following things have improved in the games
1. More TFs and respecs are starting up and not just the higher level ones like LGTF and ITF. This gives toons of all levels a chance for a TF.
2. More are willing to help take down a GM. I remember the days when I had to beg for help with Babbage and no one would respond. Just recently, I rushed to 2 teams requesting for help only to find that whole crowds have gathered to take him out.
And Merits aren't all that bad. Because of merits, I have been able to get my first Numina's unique, after only a few weeks and 2 TFs and 1 respec, one of them benig Katie's.
This is not direct feedback on the merit system but just to mention the indirect benefits of the system. -
Suggestion:
There are quite a few posts asking for team members who are not the mission owner be given merits for doing arcs (1 per mission)
My gut feel is that even 1 per mission is too high. 1 per arc may not be fair. Thus a suggestion could be this.
Create a progress bar under the Badges section showing how many mission arc missions you have helped to complete. after the counter reaches a certain number, that "Badge" can be claimed for 10 merits, similiar to how a Veteran reward is claimed. And I player can accumulate multiple copies of this "Badge" before he claims the reward.
As for how many missions to fill the bar, perhaps 50? That will average 5 missions per merit for the non mission holders. Assuming an average of 5-6 minutes for arc missions, that would equate 1 merit per half hour. Though this is longer than the 1 per 12 minutes, that's the way it should be as this option is open to everyone, regardless of playstyle. Except for those who ONLY go for radio missions and those who log on exclusively to play the WW/BM mini-game. -

Allow the player to choose the level range of ACTUAL RECIPE on the merit roll, NOT just the level range of the sets rolled against.

A random roll is a random roll. If you were to add too many variables to it to the extent that it is so 'targettable' at specific sets, it is no longer a random roll.
However, if this does happen, likely that the devs would up the price of a roll as well, if so many more variables are added.
