I'm thinking that I'm just going to host all my images on my own webspace rather than Photobucket or other. I have more control over what I can post up that way. Now all I need is a decent webpage editor and an ftp program.

Well, this why I'm usually pretty mellow about this kind of stuff. I have a pretty good idea what goes on behind the scenes in this sort of stuff. All the same, it would be nice if someone could come up with an idea that would make it possible to see things like power customization and the like. I'd also like to know why Cryptic hasn't taken advantage of many possible merchandising opportunities that exist with CoX because of its ties with comics.

Just sit back and take it easy Anti. Take a break if you need it and let life sort this stuff out. It has a way of doing that. I'm hoping that this just means that life has something better lined up for you in the future, even if things put you in a pinch for a bit of a duration. Ok, now that I'm done trying to sound all wise and knowing we can all admit I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Well, I was also thinking of some of the things that other artists (no one from here) have done with my characters and I started getting a little worried. I mean what if I came in and drew a picture of Zombie Girl Kate dismembering, disembowelling, beheading and basically just tearing apart your character while eatting them alive? Or drew your characters doing some very explicit and very out of character acts both violent and . . . other.

I don't know, I mean I probably wouldn't expect anyone here to do anything like that, but I guess I kind of worried anyway. I tend to pride myself on my charactwers and my creations and I value them more than I do any of the friendships I've made. Maybe that says something about the people I know, or maybe it's something with my being unable to form deep bonds with people. Maybe I just love my ideas that much.

Because of that I guess I can sometimes be a bit of a control freak when it comes to my characters. I've been pretty good with keeping things under control previously here. I guess with the Micros, Minis, Megas are fairly harmless overall. Alex's sketches have been fairly decent with regards to this sort of thing too. I guess with the fact that my character would be getting beaten up, and not knowing much more than that I got a little panicky.

My City of Heroes group in my +watch list keeps getting bigger and bigger! I'll have to update my blog page yet again as well. I haven't in a while (and I do have plenty of stuff to add too) but my allergies have been dragging me through the mud lately. Gah! I hate allergies! I should probably get my thyroid checked again and hope it isn't acting up again either. Anyway, nice to see someone new join the creative community.

She looks pretty young still, so being as old as I am (well I'm only 32 years old, but I find age differences seem to matter in these sorts of things) I'd probably have a better chance getting struck by lightning so I'll quit while I'm ahead. I'll find someone out there for me hopefully, but in the meantime I'm not really looking. At the least I'd though I'd comment on how attractive Sorah was in my own awkward sort of way.

In the end I was thinking about it, and while I would have loved to have seen one of my characters in a sketch with Dragonberry drawn by ScarfGirl, it occured to me that I'd have rather it been as a duo rather than a picture where my character has the tar beaten out of them. Maybe I'm just a little too proud of my characters. The three I might have picked were Reptilectric, Zombie Girl Kate or Nymphbot 7.0 but instead chose to refrain from making any submissions. On the other hand I thought I would still submit a haiku.

Is their a deadline on this? A deadline on the submission process that is. When will you be deciding? When is the cutoff date for submissions? I need time for haiku writing and action screenshot taking!

My take is that I don't want to stop Thor's Assassin from getting his own art. I simply want to start collecting my own. I don't want or need other people's things or to stop them from obtaining and enjoying them. On the other hand it looks like I may be forced into applying at Wal-Mart as a night stock clerk or security guard or whatever because I needs me some more moneys! Seriously. The only thing stopping me from being a bigger artwhore than TA is my awkwardness and lack of funds. That and the fact that I have over 100 characters as compared to his 2 (and that's not counting my non-CoX characters). Then again, one day I shall rule over all of this world one day and I shall have such a grand collection that even the gods will take notice.

Ummm... yeah. So maybe I was getting a little carried away with that last part, but you get my meaning.
