I missed that part.

THAT excites me even more than a new zone.

These tilesets are seen over and over and over again. A new tileset is right up there with a new powerset in terms of fundamental improvements to the game.

3rd straight issue? Issue 9 included inventions which can be enjoyed by anybody above level 10. Issue 8 included Faultline which actually excludes higher level people unless they exemplar (not hard to get a character to Faultline level).

This thread is destroying my confidence in my knowledge of the game.

Not because I didn't know most of what is being stated, but because I didn't know much of it has since changed. I am operating on outdated knowledge of this game in many ways!

It says I should leave a post for voting "something other than listed" in favourite features, so I'm doing so.

My favourite feature of issue 9 is the new tileset shown in the invention system tutorial.

Nothing else in I9 really added to my gameplay much. This is actually the first issue to which I can say that (well maybe issue 4 shares the honour)

I look forward to I10, and the possibilities of new powersets and a new zone. Is I10 when the moon zone comes? Give me that or a new powerset and I'll be satisfied. Give me both and I'll be very happy.

I have taken to using the alakazamreact emote.

There is something fun about a magical healing pumpkin. And the nifty bit is that your tricorder still appears, but it floats in mid air high above the magic pumpkin.

This is rather ridiculous. I agree that it is a put off to casual or even non-hardcore players. Loot shouldn't be this confusing or game changing.

I must confess.. most of these "did you know it used to be that" factoids suprise me... because I didn't realize these things have changed.

Bastion changed his name? Rooted no longer roots you? Positron has colouring on his armor? The list goes on and on. I must not be paying attention

Depends on what I'm up to at the time.

If I want to get somewhere in a hurry, teleport is the right choice.

If I want to get somewhere with no effort, such as if I'm watching TV or going to get a snack or something, fly is the right choice.

If I want to just plain have fun zipping around, Superspeed plus Hurdle and Combat Jumping is the right choice.

I see one major problem with a Marvel Super Heroes MMO. I don't see how they could ever balance it. If a game like this one has balance problems imagine a game like that. And how on earth do you account for multiple versions of the same marvel character? A team of four Wolverines? There is only one Wolverine? More than one would just feel lame.
