Amadren stood up and stretched his cramped muscle as he finished his ritual. His lair was now guarded by about 50 behemoths and 10 behemoth overlords. The area around his base was covered by motion-sensing arcane cannons. He muttered another incantation and a being of pure darkness appeared in front of him. This was Xivilai, Amadren's top tracker and assassin.
"Scout this region for any signs of life. If you find anything do not engage, report directly back to me."
Xivilai nodded in response and dissapeared. -
Amadren sat down in the middle of the room and began meditating. His mind swept across the area around his city. It was in the middle of the fire-lands of the World that is Flat. He smirked at how the dimension had sensed his personality. He stood up and muttered afew incantations and his elite guard appeared. They were all demons, as were all his servants, and were totally devoted to him. Three of them were Demons from the Plane of Stone. They were the meat-shields of his guard. Two of them were Demons from the Plane of Fire. They were incredibly powerful attackers that were the damage-dealers of his guard.. The last one was an incredibly powerful Demon from the Plane of Darkness. He served as the "behind-the-scenes" man, using his powers of darkness to hinder Amadren's enemies. They stood around him in a circle as he sat down to begin a ritual to summon guards for his new lair.
((Think of Amadren as a demon MM. I always wished they had put those in in the first palce.))
((Edited to be carbon of Zombie MM. Sorry guys )) -
((Hey Diov, Nether, how are yall? :P))
Amadren walked down the street at an incredible pace. Today was the day! He had finally cracked the GoPC Anti-Teleportation field and was going to finally be able to destroy his brother Aoleleb. His steps slowed as his mind turned to the strange dream he had had last night. Aoleleb had warned him about a competition he was going to take part in whether he liked it or not. Amadren shook his head and continued walking. As he neared the coast of Sharkhead Isle he rose into the air and flew across the ocean to a small island just offshore. On this island was a portal that led to his own private city, patterned off one of the CoT bases he had destroyed not to long ago. As he walked into the portal, he found himself not in his lair, but in a gray cube with a portal in the center. Amadren snapped his fingers and a small imp-ish demon appeared at his shoulders
"Yes Master?"
"Don't 'Yes Master' me. You know I hate that."
The Imp let out a small chuckle.
"Search my library for the scroll on competition dimensions. Read the whole thing and report back to me on where I am."
The Imp dissapeared and reappeared a second later. He was a fast reader.
A quick rundown of where he was gave Amadren all the information he needed.
"The World that is Flat, huh? I think Aoleleb may have mentioned that once before he joined THEM!" He spat out the word "them" with extreme venom.
Amadren snapped his fingers and the impish demon dissapeared. He stepped through the portal and landed right in a copy of his meditation room. -
((Aoleleb saw that by the way. He's monitoring the area around Shoshemi and Alex. When Krystell pops back in she'll be up to date on everything. Did anyone notice that Avatar fight took us several pages?))
-
Krystell let out a triumphant shout before collapsing from exhaustion. As she did, a portal opened below her that transported her into her Pocket, which had now become a manor. She reappeared in her bedroom and started falling asleep. Right before she did, she whispered something
"Aoleleb, keep an eye on Alex and Shoshemi for me"
"Will do," came the whispered reply. -
((<--Has the answer, feels like an idiot for not seeing it earlier))
Krystell opened a portal in front of her to shield her from the blasts, they were sucked through into an empty dimension off near the edge of the multiverse.
A smaller portal had opened next to Krystell though, which led to her Pocket. She reached in and pulled out...A Mirror!
After the electric death storm had ended, both Portals dissapeared, and the Avatars were staring straight at their own reflection! -
((You know, I could just Power Sink that, but you just played right into my hand.))
Krystell zipped to the side as the bolts of energy flew past her, colliding with the building behind her. The explosion was so powerful, she was willing to guess that no one on the top four floors survived. The anguished cries of those on the floors that were not directly in the blast range filled the air around them.
"Wow." Krystell uttered as she looked at the carnage the Avatar had unknowingly wreaked, "I can't believe you just did that. What a horrible thing to do." -
The fireball hit the Avatar head on, but didn't affect him at all. ((I know this guy well enough by now to know it wouldn't even faze him))
If the Avatar had known what was in the fireball though, he would have avoided it. The fireball had simply been a disguise. The real threat lay within it. For within it, there was a Carbon Spark! ((Hehe, never thought you'd see that again huh? Krystell picked it up from H'taed as he warped to the Dimension of Mists, remember?))
The carbon spark started to copy the Avatar's electric signature, unless he acted fast, something bad was going to happen. -
((I brought you in, but I can take you out.))
"Bah!" Krystell let out an exclamation of frustration when she noticed the Avatar at the podium. Just as suddenly as it had changed, the dimension changed again.
It became a huge portal to Earth! Both Krystell and the Avatar were sucked through and spit out in what seemed to be Time Square in New York City.
"Let see what you can do here."
Krystell sent a blast of fire at the Avatar. It was hotter than the sun, but it's heat was confined to a very small area. Krystell had also packed a little surprise in it for the Avatar.
((Word of advice, don't let that thing hit you.)) -
((Aye, that he can. I never said it wasn't maleable, I said it was unbreakable And in case you haven't noticed yet, manipulating my dimension isn't going to work))
Krystell lazily reached out her hand and the sun stopped falling. She started manipulating her dimension into a different form. The Island around the started to shrink, benches started forming with two tables in front of all of them. A Podium stood at the front of the room. Krystell had turned her dimension into a courtroom!
((My turn to be the judge ;P))
((I feel kinda bad for you Thunder. You're gonna be swamped with WoW Nerds. (If anyone mentions the increase to Blood Elf muscle mass, just save yourself a lot of trouble and just smile and nod ) )) -
((Thought hard, didn't work, gonna blow him up :P))
And then Krystell vanished! She didn't give any signal of where she had gone, but if the Avatar had looked hard enough she was floating in front of the sun ((Yes, her Pocket has one))
She stretched out her hand and grabbed a passing piece of metal. It was a sample of Inphantium she had picked up a long time ago on a planet that was no more. It was completely unbreakable, even Lord Diov himself couldn't have broken it. ((Before you say anything, that statement is true. Nothing at all can break Inphantium, not even all the powers of the Void.))
Taking the bar of Inphantium, Krystell bent it into a horseshoe shape. She twirled around and flung it at the Avatar. If it hit him, it would wrap around his head and fuse together, effectively blindfolding him.
((Yes, that was a spur of the moment descision :P)) -
((Wow, I don't believe it. Thunder hasn't posted for almost a whole page.))
-
The fireball hit Krystell full on in the face and blew her back a good ways. ((I was tired of avoiding everything and this works to my advantage))
All of a sudden the entire dimension started rumbling. Blasts of different elements started firing at the Avatar from seemingly out of nowhere. Krystell got up a little blackened but otherwise unhurt from the fireball.
"Wow, good job. I must admit I never expected you to hit me. I grow tired of you now though."
An aura of white energy surrounded Krystell. Her hair was blown around by an unseen wind. Two swords appeared in her hands. She crouched down in a perculiar fighting stance. The two blades were held away from her body on opposite sides. She started to spin faster and faster until she reached the speed of the winds in an f4 tornado. She flew at the Avatar in a whirlwind of silvery death. -
((Hehe, hate to tell you this, but she doesn't need to manipulate it. The dimension will fight to protect her of its own acord))
A look of surprised crossed Krystell's face as she was sucked into the ground. She popped back up a few yards away, completely safe from the staff.
"Wow" she said surprised, "I never thought an Avatar of JUSTICE would stoop to such underhanded tricks." -
'Hey!" Krystell shouted with a voice that was magnified a hundred times "This is MY dimension!"
All of a sudden the ground below Krystell settled back into the ground, the air instantly cooled, the meteor dissapeared and the mound of earth in the distance dissapeared!
"Now, if you don't mind, answer my question." -
Krystell continued talking. She knew the meteor was there, but she didn't show it.
"Wait a second. Last I checked, one of definitions of Justice is "The quality of being just; fairness." Emphasis on Fairness. Yes I saved the Earth and all the criminals on it, but I also saved countless innocent lives." -
The staff and energy bolt seemed to just stop in midair for no reason. No matter how hard the Avatar tried, the staff could not be moved.
"I must ask you a question, Avatar of Justice. Why do you seek to destroy me?" -
((Guys, brute force isn't going to work here. This thing can only be destroyed through "Psycological Warfare". Now if you don't mind H'taed, I'm going to give you a taste of your own medicine.))
The staff descended toward Krystell who just stood there, totally unfazed. Right before the staff hit, a portion of pure dimensional energy rose from the ground and blocked the attack!
The whole dimension was fighting for her!
The ground around the Avatar's legs started to twist upward at an alarming rate. Krystell threw a bolt of energy at the Avatar. As it flew it split, then split again, and again! They hurtled toward the Avatar but never struck. They just floated there in the air around him.
((LMAO!, AT least she isn't like Goku going into SS3 for the first time. He "charged up" (read: screamed) for an entire episode :P)) -
The rod seemed to pass right through Krystell, who then faded from existence. She reappeared behind the Avatar again, arms still crossed.
"C'mon, I know you're better than that."
As she said it her eyes seemed to return to normal. She was magnifying the moisture in them until it counteracted the heat.
((I know what I have to do to beat him, but I need time to think about exactly how to do it.)) -
((It is now, and I knew that wouldn't work. Hopefully yall see a way to beat him now))
Krystell vanished on the spot. She reappeared behind the Avatar, her arms crossed.
"I do hope you know I'm going to go easy on you for now right? This is MY dimension, which means we fight by MY rules."
Krystell threw the two mud maces still in her hand at the Avatar. As they flew they molded together to become a wall of electricity 10 yards in height and width.
((Just a quick description of where we are H'taed. Krystell's pocket is crafted like the "Isle of Solitude" from GW. I can provide a picture later, but not right atm. The stuff she puts in here is randomly floating all over the place. Chances are if you need something it will be floating past you at that very instant ;P. She can change the construction of her Pocket at will though, so don't get too used to one particular arena.)) -
((Dang. I should've picked up that scroll when I had the chance. Anyways, I'm going off of what Alex said about it stretching over all dimensions.))
Krystell heard a slight sound once she fully materialized inside of her Pocket. Two mud maces formed in her hands. No one should be here but her! She faced the intruder, who was another Incarnation of the Avatar of Justice.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my Pocket?"
The Avatar simply stood there staring at her.
"Man, this is creeping me out. Aoleleb, who is this guy?"
"He's called the Avatar of Justice. He is designed purely to mett out justice to those he deems in need of it. Normally this comes in the form of bashing their head in with that staff of his."
"Oh, great, that's just great. I've met creations like this before though, I can handle it from here. Thanks Aoleleb."
Krystell turned to face the Avatar.
"So, you're an Avatar of Justice huh? I've met guys like you before and I can tell you...ahh...ahhh."
And at that moment, Krystell sneezed.
((If this has the desired effect, we should all be fine. If it doesn't, and I know it won't, I will look truly ridiculous :P)) -
((Krystell isn't there right now so I can't really do anything.))
-
((I think he has a weakness I just found.))
-
((Why? I haven't been judged by that scroll. For all the Avatar knows I could be beyond Good and Evil.))
-
((This is what you consider all hell breaking loose H'taed? Wow, that's an overstatement. I might just pop back in because Krystell would be unaffected by that heat thing. I wasn't technically there when that whole "Beyond Good and Evil crap went down))
