I just bind K and L to smack and slap. klklklklklkl = smackslapsmackslapsmackslapsmackslapsmackslapsmack slap.

All weapons scale to you that I know of. If they have charges, they will still work. If they're on a timer, they may expire.

It's a great example of Vahz aggression.
It's not a good example of any other kind.
Merely making mobs notice you more or quicker, isn't my idea of how I'd like this game to be "improved".
If I'm playing on Heroic, I expect groupings of 3 or maybe 4 defeatable enemies to be around a mission map. If ones halfway across a large room noticed me earlier, that would increase my targets perhaps twice or three times - defeating the whole purpose of having that particular level of difficulty set.
As an option for SOME people, I absolutely think there should be more aggressive behavior from some mobs. But I don't in any way think that the basic "version" of the game should be changed to suit a small number of forum-goers who think it's "too easy". -

Nothing Heroside can out farm a well built fire/kin.
Nothing.

I must have been on a different kind of fam I guess. Forgive me, I haven't been on in a while.
The one I saw featured nothing but bosses...lvl 54. Ain't no Fire/Kin going to farm that one. This was a team...it had to be.

Right: they enable the team to a ridiculous degree while also maintaining a terrific level of self-sufficiency.
I personally don't have a fire/kin, but I do love my ice/kin to death. She's not for farming either. -
Rocket boots =/= Jet Wings. They're neat, for characters who are of a wingless bent, but for winged ones, fixed-wing jet would be best.

Considering it's his 5 year old daughter's character, we might not really need to know that, eh?
-
Have you even PLAYED a defender recently?
Either of you? O.O
I soloed my emp/dark defender to 50 with minimal help, around 2.5-3 years back. I cannot even imagine doing so now, but I do know it CAN be done. Slowly. Very, very slowly.
It's why I usually stay on heroic, though, no matter what my hero is.
Challenge is NOT the same for everyone. That's why we have different diff levels AND the ability to go through Oro and do extra-difficult tweaks, AND now we have the MA.
I'd love to see more *variety* to the game's xp earning schema, but what I wouldn't want to see is a series of buff-nerf-buff-nerf tweaks to our characters AGAIN, just because some few people find the "challenge" lacking. -
LOL you threw rocks at him!
I was saving one of mine for Hami but then they went and changed him -
Yup and you can buy and apply any of the box game codes to one account - only once, per box set, but any number of sets per account.
-
make a sammich, drink a beer, watch some tv or sit on the porch... you know... stop TYPING. lol!
-
Yup I saw that thread and recognized many of those names
Grats guys! -
Do you really WANT the same name as 500 other people?
Why? -
Actually no, they would be blocked entirely.
-
That's a very good point - however I'm suspecting not too many "real" accounts have been banned in the history of the game - more I'm thinking spammer accounts whose names are all along the lines of
atgazgqrlkng
andtatbgst
pwetasntak
and
thestbagapfna
And happy birthday! -
I would like to point something out, from another thread.

It was cute to watch them attempt to pick a name. The sequence went a little something like this:
Sister Flame: Okay. What name do you want?
Princess S: Rose.
Sister Flame: *slowly types the name in* Taken. Try again.
Princess S: Rosie.
Sister Flame: *more slow typing* Taken. Try again.
Princes S: Lady Rose.
Sister Flame: *types, hits enters and snickers* Taken. Boy, people love the name Rose. Try something different.
Princess S: *thinks for a minute* Rose Lady?
Like I said, this went on for just a few minutes, but it was a hoot to watch and I was very proud that neither of my daughters got frustrated.
Once they had made it past the name hurdle, Sister Flame fixed up her sister's power bar, chose all her vet rewards and temp powers and then turned the laptop over to her. They only played for about fifteen minutes, but it was a great thing to watch. Princess S decided to go swimming in the "big pool" in Atlas Park, so Sister Flame gave her directions on where to go. They ran into some Hellions, but Flame told her sister to just mash the 1-2-3-4 keys until they were defeated.

If an 8 year old and her 5 year old sister can come up with a new name they like, without coming here to raise a fuss or deciding that the game's not worth playing because they didn't get the first one (or five) they tried, the rest of us should take note and grow... young.
Patience and creativity. That's all that it really requires. -
You know, the fact that an 8 year old and her 5 year old sister can eventually generate a name suitable for the character should be plastered on all those "but I can't find a naaaaaame" threads.
BTW you are the most awesome dad ever. -

So ... many... bad... thoughts... -
I don't have one specific character that represents me, but hero anyway - I just... don't stick with villains. I've got 3 hero fifties and my highest villain is a 21 mm. The same mm I made on BETA for cov. sigh.
-
I wish - actually one time I hit "random" to enter an ugly-costume contest and wound up with a toon whose top head was MISSING. You could see the mohawk all the way down to its roots inside the "skull" area, and the face was mostly there, but where the hairline was was NOTHING.
It was actually kinda creepy... o.o -
I have a feeling that if they put everything we'd HOPE for in the Mutation pack, it'd be like a 30$ investment
Multiple eyes, eyestalks (OH that would rule), bigger tails, smaller tails, messed up arms, weird legs, squished head... SQUID head...
need moar. -
Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck. Bugs Bunny. Lion King. Spirit. The Brave Little Toaster. (all anthropomorphic)
Like I said, there was an interview on tv with an east coast Furry con group and it was fantastic. With more coverage like that, it'll be easier. Also I think as time goes by, the "costumery" aspect of things is becoming more pervasive especially given Anime conventions having HUGE numbers of cosplayers.
With that generation of kids growing up knowing that it's absolutely acceptable to parade around in costume as a character ... I don't see the furry hate lasting TOO much longer.
Now if only we could get those freaks that CSI emulated to stop existing... :P
