Stalkers get a bad rap because they're easy to get kills and with shraks it's even easier to get kills.
But that doesn't mean "95%" of villain pvpers play them. -

DR I understand (Not the maths!) but here I think they did get the numbers wrong and DR'd stuff too harshly I think which prevented buffing AT's from having much use. Just adjust the DR curves, EXPLAIN them clearly and PvP would probably be ok again. Or maybe add +elusivity into ally buffs, so they work above and beyond DR.
Oh and they might want to do a slight rebalancing of certain powers, yes DPA is a good balancing point, but some powers should be allowed to fall off this rule (IE: Flurry! And most of Ice Blast).
Hows about we take the PvP 2.0 rules and apply them to PvE? And we'll see how quickly you "understand" and "get behind" them at that point.
PvP 2.0 is all fail. Epic huge fail bigger than the rings of Saturn. -

3 stalkers were ran ONCE. And apparently everyone think it's the most horrifyingly broken lineup ever. -

- Sonics are now obsolete.
- Kins are semi-obsolete, you see them occasionally but rarely in large-scale high end matches.
- New hold system turns game into stop and go.
- Holds are doing close to Blaster damage...on Controllers.
- Cages are useless/borked.
- Procs deal zomg unresisted damage (not entirely bad given resistances).
- Tanker Fossilize does more damage than some Blaster attacks...on a low-damage AT.
- Slows are near irrelevant.
- Ally shields add a fraction of their stated resistance/defense buff.
- Competitive builds need billions in inf to be complete, outside of HP cap.
That's it off the top of my head...
I'll also add
Kinetic Melee's last attack does more damage than AS
New Domination/mez system basically screwed Dominators. Domination is just a free +end bar.
AS got gutted while attacks such as Fossilize do more damage.
Slows don't actually slow.
Ice blast/Ice assault are useless.
Traps is useless.
Mez protection powers such as CM, EM, or Clarity do not prevent allies from being mezzed.
DR hits certain attributes so hard it makes other powers OP. (Heat Exhaustion for example -

i think implementing a system that is understandable, implemented with player feedback, and uses logic and common sense would entice current pvpers to pvp more often. really anything other than what we do know, hence everyone suggesting a reversion to i12 since, you're right, the devs will likely not visit pvp again and a reversion would make everyone alot happier. pre i13 wasn't perfect, but atleast it was the same as pve and made alot more sense than this system does.
