[/ QUOTE ]Try my job. I work in factory walking around 8-12 hours a day, sometimes 7 days a week, in steel toed boots on a concrete floor. I work with 300 degree steam heated presses. The temp and humidity are often quite high, and added on top of heavy lifting and manual labor. I do that at least 5 days a week, at least 8 hours a day every week of the year. So give me a break, standing around in a crowded Con for a couple of days is nothing.

Well the're not done with the issue yet, so there may be more animations (or even color selections) that we haven't seen yet.

Myself I really like the negative effects in the "dark" versions of things. It's a little more limited than I would want, but still it's *different* to such an extent that everyone will be able to have a good time customizing away.

yeah they claim end game that is like, "harder than anything you'd think" and "making everything else look like a cake walk".

Hehehe, well thank you. I enjoyed having a goal this year because I didn't have diddly for money, so just standing around looking at everything was kinda lame. Having something to actually look for and document was cool.

I plan on slotting "youthful joy" and "tank tops", since I'm pretty much already maxed on travel powers and stuff. None of the "artist/creator" epics looked good ("tablet" maybe, but only if my friend manages to remember he owed me one lol).

Yeah there have been a couple people whose computers don't like the format for some reason. I can understand that, really, since I know there have been videos that I KNOW my rig just said, "nuh uh."

If you have a way of changing the format, please do - if you want to send it to me, I can post it in my site too, and/or on Youtube.

If you want to repost, just give me credit I didn't do any special stuff to the videos to indicate time, date or year, or me, so it's kind of up to you what you want to do about credits.

I asked about this after the panel - not your idea specifically, however...

There are 20 "nodes" available for costume placement. Right now, 18 of them are in use. Each "node" is a specific area of the body - which is why we have "gloves" "shoulders" etc - those are each a separate area which can be used to place things.

In order to place your wings on your hips it would have to be a belt option.

(My suggestion was, to get different stuff like elbow and knee pads as well as tails + belts at the same time, why not "fill a node" with accessories - but that is NOT possible with the current engine for costume creation so I am told by the head honcho.)

The "copy colors across costume" option does NOT include powers. However, the powers section has its own. Reason for this is that some powers do not share the same color palettes as the costumes, so they aren't necessarily going to be able to copy automatically.

Every single power can be completely changed from the next. If you want the plain old version of one, but your snipe different - got it covered. It's really flexible.

It does. Well, the powers customization screen had different names on the options - the powers themselves, seem to have the same original names.

The options list includes "default", "colorize" (or some variation), "Heroic" (in MAs case), and sometimes for the ranged powers "Light" and "Dark" option sets. I don't think it changes anything else, though. The icons are the same, too.

You've obviously never been to / worked at a convention booth.

Imagine a mile-long hike, through a swamp. A noisy, hot, smelly swamp.

That's one-way through the con building. Now, imagine that around 50 thousand people are also trying to go through that same smelly loud swamp. To get to YOU. To ask you questions. You have to stand there, make sure your booth isn't falling apart, making sure that no one's stealing your equipment, creating nasty words on your screens, badmouthing your product, trying to get company secrets, asking valid questions that require 20+ minutes to answer...

If you have ever worked retail or food during a huge lunch rush? Multiply that by about 60x and you have a brief glimpse of the convention.

Oh yes: they're not sitting. There are a total of 2 chairs at that booth and one of them was Nakayama's. they did have a little back room but "little" being the key word there. They stand 10 hours a day doing this.

Like I said in my other thread, if you have a way of doing it? By all means, get em converted and I can put them up too. I just don't know that I have the ability to do anything other than that format with the tools I have currently.

I also have the AVI files, if someone needs those to make it mroe easy but most of them need to be tilted 90degrees in order to be upright.
