    Cyborg costumes!

More of an android, really, but...

Thermal Kinetic really does her best, or as close as she can get considering her 'controller' Juli lives at home under hospice care.

Really not one of my more imaginative designs, and it's kind of basic... but I really like how it turned out. The face-plate is probably going to end up my most-used bit out of the entire pack.

That, and on occasion, TK powers down while waiting for slowpokes to get to mission doors. Super Speed + Inertial Reduction = WOOSH!

(Or that's my theory, anyway. Siiigh. 16 levels to go!)
  2. Sheesh.

The sheer amount of awesome in those photos is only second to what must be the dedication/attention to detail going into actually creating the environment they were taken from.

    Ace job, mate!
  3. ...I may have to seriously consider a comission from them.

    Because that's just ADOREABLE.
  4. Only thing I'd recommend is having the girl's pant legs flare out a bit towards the bottom. Really, unless they're tights (didn't get that impression from looking at the image), there'd be a natural amount of flareing as most jeans/slacks have a uniform leg width (for the most part - certain styles [boot cut, bellbottoms, etc.] have a mostly uniform look with the only deviation being around the middle of the calf).

And it makes her legs look a little thin.

Do they have a Talsorian one yet, though? Idle curiosity, that).

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, sadly BABs has stated that Talsorian weapons are only for the Lethal sets.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This fills me with a fair amount of t3h sad.
  6. I think my only complaint is that the first look seems more like he should be Super Strength. But, that's not a complaint so much as an observation, and I can see it being equally :awesome: with War Mace (Especially the Rularuu Hammer! Do they have a Talsorian one yet, though? Idle curiosity, that).

Very nice look, all the same! It has a bit more color variation then I tend to use, but it's pulled off very well.

    Very nice brother!

You taken payment in diapers now?

    [/ QUOTE ]

um yes, if you would like to pay in diapers, I would be more than happy to accept that as payment.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Unused, fresh diapers, at that.

Or I certainly hope so - You've probably got enough of the other kind to last you a while.

(If you don't clarify it, some people will assume!)
  8. ...

Yeah, that looks about right. :3

    Very nice piece!

Here's Chibi versions of Turbo's characters! I swear Project Reaver was not intentionally drawn starring at Sarix's chest, it was just a coincidence!

    [/ QUOTE ]

...Given the headtilt, I have to wonder about the truth in that statement.

    O.o

Not that I've been caught doing a similar pose before.

I know I enjoy that much cleavage.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I must express similar sentiments on this matter. o.q
  11. I really like the way you color things (have I mentioned that previously? I can't recall).

Has a soft, smooth look to it that creates a very unique look to each piece.

Altoholism is a serious disease, and you have my utmost sympathy with dealing with it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Hey!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I never said it was a bad disease, now did I! :3c

If that's a doodle, I'll eat my hat.

    [/ QUOTE ]

In the event that eating of hats occurs, I have some very nice peanut butter, mustard, and a not-quite-BBQ sauce combination that's divine.

...That doesn't include peanut butter or mustard. Those are just other things I have within easy reach. Well, okay. The BBQ-sauce-alike has mustard in it, but there's also untouched mustard for those disinclined to the unique flavor of awesome BBQ sauce.

    :3
  14. Altoholism is a serious disease, and you have my utmost sympathy with dealing with it.

However, it does seem to inspire at least something of lasting value (art) in your case, so that's at least something, right?

I'll save you a seat at the next Altoholics Anonymous meeting. >.>

(Sidebar: Srsly. It's a very nice doodle. Alleged doodle, anyway. I disbelieve! :3)
  15. Sounds like a very neat technique.

The results are definately awesome, at any rate. Can't wait to see the full thing! :3
  16. ...Oh my goodness.

    That is all.
  17. Truly awesome piece.

...My brain sort of shut off for a second, and I lost the rest of what I was going to say. But it was really more commentary in a similar vein. >>

    Barista.

What? I like coffee. :< And have a Magical Girl hero that'd make a GREAT barista!

    So, wait!

I'm not totally crazy for doing most of my (poor) sketches with a mechanical pencil, over more traditional methods?

That's usually my big problem.. I always feel so weird using my default tool (The all-holy Engineering/Mechanical Pencil) for this kind of stuff. I sort of realize in my head the trade-offs (not really sharpening vs. line variety), but I wasn't sure if I was missing something or not by not going 'traditional' (because I don't have the desk space/patience for a proper sharpener).

Hmm. I may have to start goofing around again. <_<

(This post may be a tangent. Therefore, attached to this post is a plate of doughnuts [Dunkin's, because Krispy Kreme just doesn't cut it!] and a pot of coffee.)

    Freedom Phalanx

    That's adoreable!

Particularly like BaBs and Numina. :3 Those two really stood out, but all of the other little touches were great, too!

Artographic evidence that Statesman can, in fact, actually smile. Who knew!

    CSS Baby!!!

And I'm not a fox. Or a miko!

    DUNDUNDUN!

    The plot thickens. :3c

    Creative Funk

...I wonder if I can use this same excuse for writing.

    Hmm.

EDIT: On second thought, that may just prompt my SO to ask my just what kind of stuff I'm writing that requires that kind of research. >_>

    Creative Funk

    Constantly.

Worse, I tend to go from 'lack of creativity' to 'general lethargy' and back, before I finally hit a creative spike and just roll out with the drive to once again indulge in my creative vices (writing, mostly).

Hope things clear up, though! Maybe a short reprieve (holiday, vacation, etc.) wouldn't be far out of call? >.> Sometimes, just getting away from the medium for a day or two can do wonders.

EDIT: Amusingly, I'm getting away from a number of writing projects I have lined up... by... posting on an internet forum. I suck at this 'stop writing' thing!
  25. YuriFoxfirega

    Me! Er, Kai :)

That is both awesome, and nosebleed inducing. :3c

...now if you'll excuse me, I better go stop this before I pass out from blood loss. >_>
