I turned up as Poisoned Hyena. it was good fun. the majority of the night was spent defending how great texas was in a conversation with Half N Half. one of his thugs yelled at a newcomer and Hyena tried hitting on Roselin.

but all in all, it was a pretty good night

((I know this, but the fact is that he has the ability to hide his wings at will. so, I need Acenra to be lvl 20 atleast so I can changed between winged and wingless (so I'll need two cossies)))

when I can completley master stick figure movements (so when I can get the movements to be fluid enough) I'll move onto harder things.

this animation was made using jasc animation pro. the reason why it took so long and that it looks bad is because the animation thing takes forever to do simple actions and theres a limit to how many things you can do one after the other (99 things per season I think)

future animations might take place on flash animator and stuff. that way I might be able to make better stuff.

I get bored a school. now that I'm in the sixth form, I have free periods, and most of the time, I have no work to do within them.

no internet games worthy of playing, I turn to something creative.

I've been thinking of doing several spin off cartoons for a while. making my own website and posting them, making my headline "simple is best" animations or something. so during a few of my work free free periods, I tried to make a small animation which could be a moving logo for it.

tell me what you think. I dont mind flames and what not, this is really the first animationg I have made (apart from my avatar)

Alice, Adam's half sister, has taken his place at the statue until he gets better. if you see Adam in the street, this is OOC training (need him at lvl 20 at least before november comes around, before I8 specifically) and will not do any RP until he makes a full recovery (when I8 arrives)

Shadow is skulking around the city, and has become a little stronger now that the halloween season is around))

personality: can be cold, secretive, sage like, but when it comes to music, Adam can be a good laugh when he wants to.
physical appearance: when not in costume, Adam wears a standard pair of jeans, a t-shirt and worn trainers, but he wears a pair of shades to cover his eyes with a fedora and trench coat in any weather

Instrument: due to his power in music, Adam can play all of the instruments, but he preffers singing and playing guitar
preffered playing style: rock and rolls, country, and a little bit of metal

back story: at the age of nine, he lost his family to the evil Shadow. at twelve, he lost the trust of England and was exiled to America. he became a hero shortly after arriving in the states and had fought crime since then. now, he has arrived in Paragon city, hoping to fight crime and form a music band.

so, fill in this form and we'll have a more organised RPG ))

((hoplite is right. when I wanted to start my heroes of music one (which I will have to find again to continue) I made sure to ask Necro first. the same goes with this thread. we should ask Necro if he wants to go on. he's the GM on this and we have to respect his choice))

you don't need to know airvertian to help Acenra. he still understands english. and like most other languages, he says names of people and places in the universal way (so he still says jack as jack and stuff) but either way, he still understands everyone, and he may have a few moments where he speaks in english.))

((ok, let me explain first. in Acenra's new GG plot line, Shadow has returned. Acenra has witnessed through a vison the whipe out of all life on terortheus (for those who dont know, this is the land he got his powers from) as has been put in a state of shock, where he hardley eats, sleeps or talks in english due to extreme fear. He is constantly beaten by Shadow, explaining the wounds.

this is an interactive plot line. so those who wish to be in it, post here in ooc and i'll see what I can do. there will be a series of chapters or takss. the first of which is to try and calm Acenra down.))

Images of Sophie's cut flashed continuously in his mind. He was restless. He went without sleep the night before and spent the night in terortheus, scouring the Airvertian magic and historical library which took up a quater of the capital city

"Where is it?" Acenra muttered, looking for the right book "there must be a cure in here somewhere..."

it was almost hopeless, there was only one book left in the whole library, and it was comming to eleven oclock in the morning. so, weraly picking up the book, he flicked through it and found a surprising image.

it was an artwork of somekind, but from what Oniel had said to him, Acenra thought it could be a depiction of the first 'initiation' of the circle. he continued through and found a picture of a thorn. in Airvertian, the title of the chapter was "the thorn: all the facts". however, it must of been written by one of the circle themselves, and did not wish for the rest to read, because every word was a different and difficult language

"no one in Terortheus has been able to translate this" said a female voice from behind Acenra. the elf turned around and saw a young Airvertian woman in royal dress

"Princess Meetra" he replied with a bow "I need to take this book for a while. a close friend of mine back on earth has been struck by one of the first thorns. She has a worrying looking wound and it needs to be cured"

"as you wish, just remmember, you must return the book within a week, and if you wish to keep it, you know the price" Meetray said

"thank you, I must be getting back to earth"

Acenra made his way along the streets of steel canyon. his self imposed exile from the school had meant that he had absolutley nothing to do. and even he knew that without the education from school, he wouldn't be allowed a hero lisence, meaning that if he saved a life, he would be fined a hundred dollars and seeing that he cant pay, he'd be thrown in jail.

"I am so bored..." he whimpered silently "I could be in music class by now, but my stupid test and that accursed demon made things worse... I should of never come to this city"

he took a seat on a near by bench and took out a map to look for a charity building where he could give the money he was given earlier that day. to keep his profile low, he clicked his fingers and a trilby appeared. he then placed it on his head and tipped the brim to hide his face.

((ok, just a short run through of how to do things in open RPs, just in case anyone is a bit misty on it. well, first, I post a part of my side of the story to start things off, then you do the same after that. If we start a conversation/fight, then me or you will post a start off eg
"Hello, do you know where the music shop is?" then the other person answers in another post
"yes, it's somewhere in Steel Canyon"

to make it more clear, I suggest looking at other open rps for quick examples, like this one on the US boards))

((no, not in RL, I mean, i do play guitar in RL but badly. I do sing, but the only instrument i play well is a trombone. so you dont have to be able to play something in RL, just in RP. although, it would be an advantage to have a bit of musical knowledge ))
