Acenra is the singer and rhythm guitarist in the band. However, his power in music allows his talent to extend to the other instruments, so if asked to, he will be happy to play anything else. as said in the last one, you can RP with other stuff. but this will be an independant post. you can keep your storyline but it can't have any link to the other open RP posts unless it is discussed

so for the instruments I need a drummer, a bass, a keyboard and a lead guitarist (experience doesn't matter much, Acenra can always teach them if they are a bit misty on skill)
also, for the character bit. you can make up to two side chars (ie, a friend who doesn't appear much in your part of the story, like Acenra's brother or something)
we're gonna take things slow, just so others can keep up with the story line ))

((no, not in RL, I mean, i do play guitar in RL but badly. I do sing, but the only instrument i play well is a trombone. so you dont have to be able to play something in RL, just in RP. although, it would be an advantage to have a bit of musical knowledge ))

to make it more clear, I suggest looking at other open rps for quick examples, like this one on the US boards))
((well hawkblaze is a 30 yr old blind guitarist whose former band had many world tours however they all died in a horrific fire stemming from a faulty flaming guitar headstock, ie it shot flames but exploded, so if you still need a lead im availiable, and wouldnt affect my backstory, actually having an ingame band would be awesome))

Personality: Fairly care free and honest with most people Sophie looks at the world to have fun and enjoy every minute it has given her. Occasionally she can sink into states of depression mainly over concerns amongst the now 'disbanded' brotherhood. In public, both in missions and out of them she wears black jeans with a fire design, bage/gold boots, a blue and black jacket and shirt. She has armoured elbow pads, bone bracers and has short white or very light blond hair, tends to wear a gold circlet round her head and speaks with a slight French accent.
Preferred Playing Style: Sophie enjoys singing almost anything and isn't too bad at it either, she can also play bass guitar but although competent is not amazing.
Back Story: During the rikti wars many died but also a few were captured, when Hero 1 came through the portal the confusion it created allowed those few in the rikti base to escape on an unmanned ship. They became pirates for lack of a better word, stealing what they could and keeping themselves alive. Sophie is only the 3rd of these people to come to earth since many choose to remain in space, now that she is here she intends to have fun, socialise and generally enjoy herself.

((guys, i just thought of something else. there will be several chapters within this RP which will begin with music post. What you did in the previous chapters will effect what mail you get. for example. if you sat at a table and had a friendly chat with Johnny the Dragon Fire, he may send you post asking if you want to join the band. if you are particularly popular, you may be invited for an interview on radio paragon. each character will get four pieces of mail. three are effeted by what happened in the previous chapter, and the fourth is a music letter by DJ Zero, posted to the music pordigies in Paragon City and/or the Rogue Isle. so, the format will be like this:

it was an interesting conversation yesterday. I never knew you had such talent. my band is looking for a singer, and because that jug ears Acenra wants to do the same thing, I need to make sure I have all the help i can get.

the newsletter will be posted in another post. after I have posted these letters and given the word go, you have a few new sub objectives. you must react to these through out the new chapter or through out the entire RPG. the later that these sub objectives are left, the more they build up and they could become a huge benefit or diar consequence.

((Hello! I've talked it over with Necro, and it's been allowed. I have planned this out and decided to lay down the rules here and before I start, make sure who's in and the like.
first off, the plot. My main char Acenra (this was one of the major things. we are allowed to use any char as long as it holds absolutley no link to Superhero 101. this is kind of set in an alternate reality) has just recently arrived in Paragon. he is a music legend where he came from and wants to restart his old rock band with some other people in the city.
the chars:-
1. Johnny the Dragon Fire: this guy is another hero around the same nieghbor hood as Acenra. he plans to make a rival band and has been known to have a fiery temper as he used to be a high ranking flame thrower in the Hellions. he is now an over confident hero.
2. Vierosinactaricta the cruel (AKA Shadow): Acenra's nemesis. this is the creator of the netherworld(so magic users will have more knowledge on him than, say, a mutant or a science). however, his methods are somewhat merciful as he doesn't like to kill the victim. if he sets them as a target, he'll make their life a living hell before devouring their soul. this process usually takes a month or so, depending on how well your conection with Acenra is.
3. you: You can be a hero, a citizen, a cop, a homeless guy. anything. just be yourself. you can be a musical expert or a beginer. it doesn't really matter.
the rules:-
1. no godmodding. this is a common rule. godmodding means you are impervious 24/7. and as you can guess, it can get on everyone's nerves if you do that all the time. you have to take some damage, and you have to lose sometimes
2. no taking control of the other characters. unless you have MSN or something so you can write with the other posters, please, no taking control of everyone else. you have control over the main chars and your chars, you just need permision from the other posters about theirs.
3. have fun! just remmeber to relax. this is roleplay. dont feel bored or anything, or confined by the rules set. have fun. be what you want to be.
