I have PvP'ed quite a bit but i never have and i will never, NEVER! PvP in the sad, sad enviroment you're describing, i pity you and the ones you PvP with, sacrificing originality and individuality to create a army of Copy+Paste PvP clone troopers, i wouldnt be suprised if the crowd described have all grey characters with nearly identical names to confuse enemies...

When i PvP it is on a significantly less focused basis, against others who had fun builds, and actually win with them.
Throwing people left and right, dropping them from high altitudes.

Dark/ Imo is the best PvE primary solo and teams due to the control it gives you with the debuffs and the fear. Secondly, ToF has a really good acc debuff, combined with your attack's debuffs and damage you have a beast. It can rip through anything without much problem. Its damage is smash/negative, Midnight grasp is only negative which says it all, you got 2 damage types and is far more enjoyable than most of other sets in my opinion. Now for secondary, i suggest ninjitsu for pve and pvp. Dark/Nin works great for both. SR brings a lot less to the table that it used to since its gem is quickness (20% Recharge and +running speed). Ios can cover that now. Although generally SR is better for IOs and especially with the i11 purple sets it can achieve really high recharge times. Ninjitsu lacks KB protection, although it offers resistance to Psi and fear. Willpower and Regeneration will both give you a really hard time in low levels since they lack defense and you get hit out of hide ALOT. If you plan in pvp, the powersets tree is Energy melee > Dark melee > Claws in my opinion. Secondary powerset pvp everything but dark armor works. Some people say that Energy aura sucks, but with IOs it can skip the end drain and stamina and bring Conserve power's recharge to a great level, almost perma. If you have any further questions, ask.

I still find Sonic laughable in comparison to ice and fire. Specially its cast time.

Ice/thermal, simply the best corruptor IMO. Playing a sonic/dark at high level (50 soon) all i can say that sonic without a team and heavy debuffs is laughable.

There is no zone, even SC, that Heroes versus villains are balanced. Sad, but true. My stalker will beat most noob Blasters anywhere. A good blaster will stand a change and maybe even kill me. Warburg is the most balanced Zone due to FFA. There is no change of villains to perform better than heroes in teams, and yes patrons ARE gimped. And lol @ -Jump is insane. Its the only good patron for pvp i'd say and not that insane. While Hero epics give the change to heroes to play their characters with different ways. (i.e FoN, PFF, Hibernate)

It is true, unfortunately. More bonuses in solo, not teams. Hero teams > all villain teams in pvp.

3. Consume is pretty damned fantastic. Worth 3 slotting for recharge, add some accuracy when you can, endmods when you have spare slots later. Without endmod it can top you up off 3 mobs, helps recovery from Rage crashes, and lets you push it that bit further into a mish without stopping.
