((I'm getting to confused! ))

The Avatar started turning completely black. As soon as it became completely black, it disspeared, leaving no trace (except for the heroes' injuries and a burning rope) that it had ever been there.

Except it still was. Perched high up in a tree, Illithar was controlling it now. His powers of darkness allowed the Avatar to become completely invisible.

"Honestly. Do you people have any other way of dealing with things besides brute force?"

"Don't start with us Illithar. I had it perfectly under control."

"Don't make excuses Magnis. You were getting your butt handed to you and you know it."

The Avatar sat in the tree, watching how the 6 would react to its dissapearance.

Amadren turned around and grumbled something under his breath as Falcon went through the portal. He turned to look out the window and noticed A slight red bump rising above the trees in the forest area.

"Hmmmm, so the Avatar has reached the 6 in the forest area."

Amadren cast a glance back towards the portal and made a few signs. When Falcon left the armory now, it would transport him to the forest area.

((Well, until Shimmer posts, I'm stuck fighting with one arm here :P Let's see. I got Ice arrows from Hazard, Burning flying at my neck. Night flying at my arms. Proto shooting energy bullets at me. That's looks like everything.))

The Avatar took his other arm (the one that had thrown the fire blade) and slammed it down towards Night. At the same time, a beam of fire emanated from his eyes towards Hazard's new rope. The Ice arrows hit him and dissovled on contact, while Burning's fire sword was simply absorbed.

"Ok, first of all, don't call me Sir. I hate that. Second, every piece of equipment in there is a bound demon. I can always bind another one, so go ahead and take whatever you want."

The Avatar slammed one of his fists down towards Experiment as he was in mid-air. At the same time he sent a thin blade of fire towards Hazard's rope. The two lasers slammed into its chest once again, while Burning's fire beam was absorbed.

((Note to self. Don't fight all of Burning's characters at once. Its confusing as hell))

The Avatar suddenly changed from white to a dark red.

"Let me handle this Omnis."

When the arrows, fireballs, and missles hit the avatar, they were absorbed into it. The lasers not so much, but it didn't really notice. It lifted it's hand into the air where a ball of fire started to form. It grew until it was the size of small house. When it reached that size, the Avatar threw it at Hazard

((Hope he doesn't have to fight Amadren soon, or his perception of reality will be seriously altered ))

((*sigh* And so ends the glorious story of Grey Space. I haven't seen Thunder in ages. If you do happen to see this thunder, maybe you could join us in Diov's thread We should start another "Get the package" thread just to see if it evolves into a "Save the Earth" thread again ))

The spines struck the Avatar dead on, but he didn't even react to them. Meanwhile, his foot was still speeding towards Burning.

((Prolly worth mentioning that the Avatar isn't alive. poison, burns, deadly bio-weapons, etc. won't affect it at all. It is merely a puppet being controlled by the Pantheon))

((Well Shimmer's sayin it would obliterate us all, and generally explosive chemicals tend to be pretty explosive. Anyways, Shimmer, ya may wanna check that dot on your map now and tell me what color it is :P))

((Fine, whatever you call that ball-of-explosive-chemicals-carrying droid))

((Honestly Diov, do you think I don't have a plan for your little doomsday bubble thing? Haven't you noticed a trend in almost all my characters yet?))

((I haven't seen Nether in a while. :/ ))

"HOW DARE YOU!!!"

The Avatar suddenly doubled in size and its arms were engulfed in white fire.

"HOW DARE YOU EVEN SUGGEST SUCH A THING!"

In doubled in size again and the fire spread until it covered its entire body.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!!"

Once again, it doubled in size and stood taller than all 6 of the contestants together. It lashed out with a lightning-fast kick towards Burning.

((Word of advice: Never, and I mean NEVER, suggest there is ANYTHING wrong with Omnis.))

The Avatar...well, I'd say he "looked" at Hazard, but he has no eyes to speak of. (()) A voice suddenly radiated from it. It was filled with the power of infinity.

"Silence worm! I could ask you all the same question."

Suddenly, the Avatar switched to a light blue color and a different voice spoke out of it.

"Honestly Omnis, do you have to act like that all the time? You may be all powerful but it nevers hurts to make some friends you know."

It then switched to a green color and yet another voice spoke out of it.

"She has a point Omnis. These people could be valuable allies."

Then it switched back to white again.

"Would both of you shut up! We'll never get anything done if we stand here arguing all day!"

Then the Avatar turned its attention back to Hazard.

"As I was saying, I could ask you all the same question. Who are you?"

The Avatar reached thr gound right near the 6 contestants. It didn't say anything. It simply sood there watching them.

Then suddenly Velkon stopped in midair. No matter, how hard he struggled he would have never broken free.

"Fool!" Daonri hissed at him, "You've ruined everything!"

She threw Velkon down to the ground below ((Telekinesis ftw!)) and turned to teleport away. Suddenly, the Avatar appeared right in front of her. It was a shining white. Daonri took a step back in horror. "No! Not you! You can't be here!"

There was a flash a white light and Daonri was gone. The Avatar slowly descended towards the ground and the 6 contestants there. ((Remember, the Avatar is small, but he is the equal of a Giant Monster in power.))

((You can't hit a girl! ))

Daonri frowned in irritaton as she noticed her thought buble wasn't working. SHe turned to the next most likely canidate, the one known as Velkon. She formed a slightly bigger thought bubble this time to get it in a little farther. She sent him the same message, hoping the animal part of him would trigger some kind of "self-defense" to protect him from the people who would kill him.

((Let's see. Amadren, Daonri. Hmmm, I seem to be down to 2. *Looks back at main page* I believe Diov said something about GIANT MONSTERS!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! ))

The portal in Amadren's roomed shimmered then changed totally black. A being stepped through it who looked sort of like a cross between a crash-test dummy and a display mannequin. It had no features at all. At the sign of this unknown intruder, Amadren's demon guard readied their weapons. Amadren spun around at the sound of steel being drawn from its sheathe.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my tower?"

The being turned a dark red and a demonic voice spoke through it
"Silence worm! You know exactly who we are. We are the ones who gave you your power."

It suddenly turned a light blue and then a woman's voice spoke through it. It sounded almost motherly.
"Come now Magnis, don't be so hard on the boy. It's not like we ever told him we gave him his powers."

It then suddenly turned green and another voice spoke through it. It sounded very old and wise.
"Ignorance is no excuse for rudeness towards your creators Merina. The boy should at least have some inkling of who we are."

"Um, yea, hi. Anyone want to clue me in on what's going on here?"

The being suddenly turned a bright white and a voice filled with the power of infinity spoke through it.
"We are the Pantheon! We have come to give you aid on this World that is Flat. Do not think we work for you though. We are here of our own free will."

"Ummm, ok. Thanks for coming then, I guess. If you'd like to help you could go terrorize some locals or something. It's kind of quiet right now."

Xivilai's shadow streaked back into the room thru the window again and merged with Amadren's shadow.

"That conniving little sneak! Actually, if you want to help, go to the forest area and destroy Daonri!"

The being simply turned and phased through the window. It walked through the air, headed towars the forest area.


((Say hello to the Pantheon! I thought these guys up last night. (for some odd reason). They are....

Omnis-The Overseer

They're some of the most powerful demons, one of each element, who have formed a council for Lord knows what reason. They are the ones who granted Amadren his demon summoning powers. They each take turns controlling the crash-test-dummy/display-mannequin figure, which is known as The Avatar. The Avatar will change colors depending on who is controlling it at that moment. If Omnis ever takes control of the Avatar I suggest you run ;p))

Amadren looked over at his view panels and noticed the people in the forest region (how many of you are there? 4 from burning, experiment, velkon, wow, I'd hate to go up against you all.)

"Oh boy, that doesn't look good. Xivilai, recon."

A little bolt of shadow detatched itself from Amadren's shadow and streaked out the window, toward the forest region.

Meanwhile, Daonri appeared in a tree above the 6 contestants. She had not gone to "take a nap" as she had said, but had scouted the flat world for potential pawns. As she looked down, she noticed Proto Zone. There was something about him. Some sort of..."detatchment"? She couldn't quite place it. She sent a small thought bubble toward him. It wasn't much but it would plant the message in it in his head. Whether or not he would listen to it though, that was another matter.

"These people aren't your allies. They're only using you to get what they want. As soon as they don't need you any more they'll turn on you and rip you apart. Take them out before they take you out."

((Ah, manipulating the minds of the weak. So much easier than getting your own hands dirty. ;P))

((BOOOOOOOOM!!!!! lol))

Amadren looked at the portal as Daonri and Falcon Strike came through the portal.

"Even with the Bracers of Omnis you could destroy them? Ah well."

"They make me stronger, but they don't help keep me alive." she chuckled a little as she said this. "We'll get them next time though. Aoleleb's in the dungeon by the way."


She let out a huge yawn and then added. "I think I'm gonna go take a little nap. She snapped her fingers and was gone.

"Hmm, whatever. Go ahead and do whatever you like Falcon Strike. If you want you can take some things from the armory. The portal should take you anywhere you need. Like before, I'll call if I need you."

Daonri heard H'taed say this and one thought went through her mind.

"Oh crap! Falcon, I'm getting us out of here, now!"

As she spoke she was opening a portal as fast as she could. Knowing Shimmer, he DID have something like that and they were all dead if they didn't get out.

The portal opened inside Aoleleb. He was teleported to a holding cell in AMadren's tower. The destination then changed to Amadren's wall portal.

"C'mon!" Daonri yeleld as she hopped through the portal.

"Amadren! You idiot!" Daonri exclaimed as the bolts moved towards her bracers.

Fortunately for Daonri, Aoleleb was nearby and saw what was happening. A lightweight stone appeared around Daonri's hands. They prevented the bolts from reaching the bracers but didn't affect her abilities at all.

Daonri put up a telekinetic field around her and Falcon and then looked over at him.

"Hahahahaha! Amadren? Strong? You must be joking right. Amadren isn't strong, he just gets strong people to do the work for him. As for help though, I've been feeling a strong energy for about the past 20 minutes. It feels like it's coming from Amadren's tower."

And indeed Daonri was right. As she spoke this sentence Amadren finished the ritual he ahd been working on. The glowing energy orb, now the size of a bowling ball, suddenly morphed into 2 bracers. These bracers are known as "The Bracers of Omnis". They enhance the wearer's natural abilities about fivefold. As the bracers were finished, they dissapeared and reappeared on Daonri's wrists.

"The Bracers of Omnis? Amadren must be getting worried."

As she said this, she her telekinteic field suddenly started glowing with the pure amount of energy it was made of.

Daonri watched with slight amusement as H'taed slammed into the psychich wall and out the window. She dispelled the telekinesis around her and Falcon and dropped nimbly to the ground.

Meanwhile, the netting slammed into Aoleleb and trapped him. Or so it seemed. As the net landed around Aoleleb he opened a portal inside himself and reappeared next to Shimmer

"Night night!"

He brought his fists down in a two-handed overhead smash towards Shimmer's head.

((I was waiting on Burning 'cuz it's his shield and I need to know if it holds up or not. And it seems H'taed's little carbon spark has gone rouge! ))

Daonri flicked a hand over toward Falcon Strike. A small telekinetic field lifted him off the ground as well.
