"ok, follow me" he heads back up stairs, wondering if the man was following him

hearing the knocks at the door, Adam stops the music

"ok, you're in. excuse me for a moment" he heads downstairs and opens the door

"you here for the band auditions?" he asks the man standing at his door

the emotion on Acenra's face was invisible. he just sat, his eyes closed under his mask.
he then replied in a monotone
"ok, let's see you play the bass" he picked up a dark blue Gisbon flying V bass guitar and handed it to Sophie. he then picked up his black BC rich warlock "play a bass rythm to back this tune" he then started playing the intro rhythm of More Than A Feeling by Boston

I do admit, the clock tower doesnt seem to have as many supporters as GG.

maybe the timing was a little wrong. starting it at the same time as GG means there will be a conflict between the two as RPers decide which one to go to. so, maybe if we start CT a little earlier, RPers can go to one, spend a nice time there and then choose whether they want to stay, or go to GG, so if we start it at 7 or 8, the rpers can spend 2-3 hours at one then shift to the other

Shadow made an appearance last night at the statue, which resulted in him killing a pedestrian and whipping Sophie a bit))

Hi guys.

I get bored alot, and when a computer nerd gets bored, he finds stuff computery to do. so, i made an internet quiz.

I took six different cartoon characters and turned em into a quiz. it may some tweeks but I'm working on better quizes. it's something to do when i have no homework and I want to do something new.

"well, let's hear you sing" Adam stated "then we'll see how well you can handle a bass"

Adam stood in the middle of a decripit room, which only had a few instruments in various places. looking at Sophie, he raised an eyebrow
"so, what can you do?" he asked

"yes, they're still on. you're the first to arrive" Acenra replied "well, lets go to my 'music room' and see what you can do" he wandered upstairs, wondering if Sophie is following him

Acenra wandered to the door and opened it. he saw the person at the door and raised an eyebrow
"I suppose that you're here for band auditions, hmm?"

update:
Acenra and Alice are normal. Acenra is a little worried though, as Shadow is finding some ancient aging spells, and is trying to be extremly careful, as the form of aging Shadow is using could cause a person to have a panic attack))

picking up his guitar, Acenra strummed the strings lightly. the sound bounced from the filthy walls of his new home.

he then concentrated hard, and suddenly, the guitar was covered in runes. strumming the instrument again caused it to soundas if being played through and amp.

he then started to play and sing "Wish you were here" by Incubus, with the musicechoing for a long distance aroun king's row

Acenra, a travelling super hero, had followed his hated enemy to Paragon city.

when he arrived in somewhere called Kings row, he lost the enemy he calls Shadow

"Bloody hell!" the teenage hero cursed under his breath "looks like I'm stuck here"

with no money, the british hero searched the streets for unused buildings. he mannaged to find a home, somewhere near the factories. it was condemed, stinking and full of rats, but it had to do.

Acenra took a walk, making a mental note of the old home. he then started to reminise about his old band a few years back. he kept thinking 'all this heroing, I'm letting one of my powers go to waste'

finding a copy house and a few dollars, he managed to make a poster, rough as anything, describing that he needed a new band, then placed them in the vicinity of his new abode.

heading home, he waited to see if anyone would take an interest in the idea of a band....

((ok, we've waited long enough. it's time to start this thing. for those who havent joined yet, it's still open, just fill in the form mentioned earlier in the post and then you can post whenever you want. I'll simply call the RPG Heroes of Music. ok, lets do it))

((update:

Acenra has now regained health, but during the day, ran off. Alice managed to find him, and with a little help from her new claws, 'persuaded' him to return to the statue. he mannaged to force a good natured attitude, but in future will be secretive, sarcastic, dark and sage-like.

Shadow has been seen once, and strangley, was conversing with a villain who wielded a laser gun and was guadred by two robotic guards))

((sorry. basically, they are just a mini objectives. so, with the second letter, you have missed a payment on a guitar. during the chapter you get this, you have to get that payment in on time. I'll PM you about what happens if you do or dont get the payment in on time then you write it up on a post later on))

((guys, i just thought of something else. there will be several chapters within this RP which will begin with music post. What you did in the previous chapters will effect what mail you get. for example. if you sat at a table and had a friendly chat with Johnny the Dragon Fire, he may send you post asking if you want to join the band. if you are particularly popular, you may be invited for an interview on radio paragon. each character will get four pieces of mail. three are effeted by what happened in the previous chapter, and the fourth is a music letter by DJ Zero, posted to the music pordigies in Paragon City and/or the Rogue Isle. so, the format will be like this:

Sophie, your mail is:

Johnny the Dragon Fire : Dear Sophie,
it was an interesting conversation yesterday. I never knew you had such talent. my band is looking for a singer, and because that jug ears Acenra wants to do the same thing, I need to make sure I have all the help i can get.

the newsletter will be posted in another post. after I have posted these letters and given the word go, you have a few new sub objectives. you must react to these through out the new chapter or through out the entire RPG. the later that these sub objectives are left, the more they build up and they could become a huge benefit or diar consequence.

I'll say in ooc when a chapter ends. and you cant post in IC after that until I start a new chapter. you can talk in ooc until i post again.

Acenra has started to move around a bit more, and calm down a little. he still wont talk in english, but has remmembered few of his light powers regarding self healing. however, he has been having a bit of trouble hiding his wings

Shadow's location is unknown

Alice is becoming more and more busy and will not be able to attend to the statue as frequently and not for as long.
