Hehe, my fire/kin is gunna ding 38 soon, getting FS, and was wondering what difficulty i should run at to get the mobs enemies for FS, so that I can kill stuff faster. As your average Fulcrum shift user does.
Any general stratergies? -
Yeah, I suppose so =/ Only way to do this is to set up a SG and get a fat load of people doing it. Too much hassle, I guess I'll just go back to my main etc.
-
5PM tomorrow sounds fine for me. Went quite good tonight, except for the fact that everyone had to leave a few mishes in =/
Still, we're all around level 5, and gunna do this regularly I hope. AM goodness is good. -
Well, I'm here, and I'm not sure if anyone else is... =/
-
Not sure how many people we've got. And I myself have already gone through tutorial, I dont really think we need to team that part, 'tis easy anyway.
-
Whatever floats your boat for primary... Hey, I think we should start at 6pm actually, give us more time, people can join as they get on. That ok, 6pm next to Kalinda contact?
-
Hmm, whichever one suits you tbh - Or one that grants best/earliest resistances whatever, you decide
EDIT: Bah, you're too darn fast MaX :- I will beat you to a responce someday! -
Suppose it would help to get some protection in... anyone up for making a /whatever to be up for the job? And logging on as my rad/rad corr in a min. I took Kalinda as my first contact btw.
EDIT: Fine, I guess 7pm is smart, seeing as lots of people are coming back from work. -

Well. I'm creating my Rad/Rad Corr on Defiant atm, just to get started. Anyone wants to join me for now, I've already posted my global thingie.

Pub time now mate, sorry

Well, it seems MaX won't let me start tutorial. :P So I'm just killing stuff. -

Ah, btw, I'm going for rad/rad, just FYI.
*EDIT*: Global name is @Grimexe -
Ah. just got to add, it's probably going to be on defiant, though nothing's set in stone

Hey, I've decided that It'd be great to have a go at one of these all /rad corruptor teams. You know the ones, stacked AM and RI and EF etc, and all the AoEs being let loose. The idea is to have a bit of variaty in the primaries, probably 3 fires, for uber fireball goodness, 3 ices, for the nice +slows etc, and a dark and a rad maybe, to get some more variaty. Anyone else here want to join? already got a couple of people interested, and thought this'd be the place to ask.
*EDIT*: Just got to add here, it's probably on defiant.
*EDIT 2*:Ah yes, btw, my global is @Grimexe for those wanting to join. -
So, how's the team going? My fire/kin's gotten to 32 atm. your group gotten to pets yet?
-
Hellooo, tankmage anyone? People can use presence pool Henchies shooting as added bonus The player becomes the tank! Or something :P
-
Thing is, with 'resists' like that, you could easily go into melee range safely, letting them attack away 'defencively' against the enemies that inevitably attack.
I will probably do this as a thug/dark MM, just because thugs are going to be new, (And ranged, sticking with me I hope for blasting away) and I'll be able to tank for a 18 man team at some points late in the game Course, only getting bodyguard from 6 of my minions, but it will still be cool. Might leave the Brute off bodyguard though... Plus, I'll get the dual pistols of doom! -
...and still pretty darn good versus everything else. I think I'm gunna roll me a /Dark MM sometime... If only the gangwar summons were henchies, then that would really be a big resistance... 87.5% from my calculations if there are 10 from gang war... not too shabby :P Shame they can't be controlled though... =/ So they probably won't benefit, unless they're auto in bodyguard mode.

Ok, I am saying this from what I gather about the new Bodyguard function for MMs. Necromancy has 7 henchmen, correct? Now, if they are all in bodyguard mode, this means that the damage will be split between you, and them. Two parts on you, and 7 parts between them, meaning that you are taking 2/9ths of the damage you would've taken. This roughly translates to the equivilant of 77% damage not being taken. Not too bad, eh? Now toss Darkest night, from the secondary in. Heck, throw in your shadow fall and it's energy/neg energy/psy resist, may as well put Dark servant in their with all its moves.... and that's not much damage coming into you now, is it? Now consider that your heal does not also heal you for a good amount of points, but it is also healing your seven henchmen for a good amount of points, too. Anyone else think that this is cool, although somewhat overpowering? It will almost feel like your adding their hit point bars to your own, and making your heal many times more effective. Just wanted to know if what I'm considering here is correct, and if anyone else is gunna try it.

I'm thinking of starting a regular team/SG of all /kin controllers. Why controller instead of defender? Well, I think the pets at 32 is a good answer, but also there's the whole lot of handy controlling powers etc, and containment is a bonus
And why /kin? Well, it's just a very team friendly combat buffing set I feel. It's like a few buffs at the start, and between controls you let off some syphons. Plus you got SB. and if we all get hover and SB each other, then, well, WOW.
Anyone want to join me with this? I had a few people I was doing it with, but that kinda failed, and I got a level 4 Ice/Kin at the moment waiting for a team to try this with. Any takers?
