Sooooo, how's that rescheduling looking?

I'm bringing my dark/pain corr and experience from being empath on taunt and scrapper teams on the blueside raids. I can lead a team if we're not doing this too differently, but I'd rather focus on buffing and healing than instructing newcomers.
That said, WOOOOOOOOOO REDSIDE RAID YAY AWESOME WOOOOOOO! -
I enter the Hive, and the first thing that happens? My game crashes for real for the first time (normal crashes for me are just when it freezes up). Promising!
*logs straight back in after the client is done verifying*

Agreeing with many of the already mentioned ones (several of which I didn't know about), but wanting to add that one instanced map from a mish redside where you go into a PTS control base or something similar and there's these big screens displaying a recording of Bat'Zul moving about... I found it really awesome. A shame I'd already done the Binder SF, otherwise I'd probably have gone "What is this??"...
The Abyss in general too. So much neater than the Hive. Although the hive spire in Eden is fairly impressive... -
Gots my emp fender to lvl 50 yesterday and fully IO'd out (not with sets, but still). Reporting in now, ready for mostly anything on the 30th. Except for running straight into the blob. That didn't turn out so pretty. Was still fun, though :3

I still love how it went overall. I probably joined in about a quarter/third of the way through the Founders Falls assault, and oh did we strike them back. After that multiple Masters at Arms defeat, and the last scattered kills and title give-outs, people headed off to do Lady Grey's TF and raid the Mothership... And what an awesome raid it was~
Oughta teach the rikti they can't strike without the forces of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles striking back >:3
Still wish I coulda done the event on my corr, but ah well. Silly active blueside~ -

I'd think about grabbing phase too, so you can escape out of LoS should you get targetted. Also i'd grab Recall Friend. If the build is gona be specifically for the raid, i'd look at 2 slotting rez for rech too. Slot Fortitude for defense as opposed to +ToHit. Oh and i'd go Power Mastery for Power Boost, for tasty heal others so you can avoid using absorb pain too much, hehe.
Tbh, i can't think of much you'd need to slot differently for the Hami raid than normal pve/Tfing. Everything i've said above pretty much applies to normal PVE, hehe. Sorry if any of it came across as patronising
And not really anything I haven't considered (other than phase, but might go for that if the build doesn't turn out too tight); and it definitely helps to get some input agreeing with my thoughts on it.
One thing:
Group flight, yay or nay? I'm gonna be squishing flight in there for sure, just wanna know if group flight is awesomeness for raids or if it doesn't matter, because I've never seen much use for it elsewhere (stealth/invis+flight+recall friend gets everyone to the needed places in my regular playstyle). -

As for my participation, lvling is going very smoothly. sals and the TFs they make so quick ftw<3
I'd like to target my secondary build specifically at stuff like this, anyone got any advice towards how my emp/dark will be most efficient here? -
I should be able to get my Empath/Dark fender to fifty and slotted decently before this... So if someone gives a good clear instruction on how to lead a specific team I'm up for it. Never been at a Hami-raid before, though, so no experience to pull on; but I am a reasonably quick learner.

So now that the blueside raid executed and stuff (I hope it went well), I have some jealousy here as I only have a lvl 50 redside and don't have the motivation to finish leveling my fender...
Hence, time to drum up attention for the other side. When's a good day of the week/time of the month to swarm The Abyss? -
It's reasonably populated. Haven't had real problems getting TFs/SFs up and running during afternoon/evening time (only issue being people not replying to my tells, really, and this is without advertising the TF/SF on any channels). Not -very- active, though, typically 70-140 people on redside, more on blueside... PvP is near dead, although Recluse's Victory does get some activity.
Personally I like it there and aint going elsewhere. >_>
