Calm watched the Chaos erupt around her. A hero dead, others injured and now Zombies and an exploding arm! It took a moment for Autumnfox's words to sink in.

Then with a nod she raised a hand toward Autumnfox, boosting her strength (fortitude). Calm then ran through Ed's offered portal.

The peace of the menders home was in stark contrast to warehouse she had just left. Calm sat down on the closest set of steps. Wrapped her arms around her knees and burst into tears.

Calm ignored Justice's words which ate at her own self doubt. She turned and pushed Autumnfox out of Ed's shot. Stepping forward she tapped into the netherworld and surrounded herself in dark energy.

"Looks can be deceptive." Calm raised her arms and threw dark energy toward Ed. Dark tendrils erupting from the floor and attempting to hold onto Ed and his family.

Calm closed her eyes and bowed her head. She wanted this day to be over. So much had already been lost. Something inside her was telling her to walk away, that no-one would care. But Autumnfox's words sank in and she realised at least one person would care, one person was enough.

Calm stood up and backed away from Mechano. She stood ready next to Autumnfox.

"Will you stand down and allow us to return you to custody?" Calm asked Ed in a smooth voice that hid her feelings.

Calm watched Justice disappear through the hole Holly had made with her fall. She slowly turned and observed the destruction around her. Her heart felt heavy at the events that had unfolded here today.

The hostages were all exiting now with Ef watching over them. She moved over to where Mechano was still stood over Pious. She took a chance, wether intentional or not he had sheilded her from the fire.

"We all have to live with our choices." She knelt down and closed Pious's eyes. From her kneeling position she looked up at Mechano. "You had better leave, I will make sure he is taken care of."

Calm took off her cape and draped it over the reforming Ef. She gave him another boost of healing energy.

"You ok?" Calm asked Ef as she headed over to the hostages to unbind them and help get them out.

Calm hadn't seen Efranof until Holly pointed him out to her. She saw Holly taking two of the hostages away, the rest hold have to wait for a minute

Calm kept an eye on the hostages as she moved quickly to Ef's side. She held her arms outstretched and attempted to resuscitate Efranof.

Calm knelt next to Holly. She continued to heal her, worried at the slow rate which her abilities were affecting the girl. She started to remove Holly's bindings. When she removed the gag, she gently wiped some of Hollys' tears away.

"It will be ok!" She gave Holly a reassuring smile.

"You have no right to call any Hero - one of your own - Mechano." Calm looked at Edward while she continued to heal Holly. "Before you ask, we have never met! You're wanted criminal and I've read your file." She watched Edward as he attempted to heal Pious. She could not understand why a criminal would heal anyone.

Selene entered the room looking slightly out of place in a pale blue dress. She glanced around the room and started to feel totally out of her depth.

She made her way to an empty seat and sat down waiting for whatever would happen next. As she waited she played with the hem of her dress.

Calm was stuck inside the same sheild as Holly. She flinched as the flames surrounded the forcefield. She could feel the air getting warmer inside the bubble.

Calm moved quickly, she had no idea how long the shield would last. She started to glow a soothing green energy which radiated around her.

"I'm sorry if this hurts!" She spoke to the unconcious Holly. Calm prepared to remove the knife and concentrate all her healing on the fallen Hero.

I had to listen to my Pink albums while beating up Zombies tonight because of this thread lol.

The video to trouble is good aswell, I can imagine a few off the GG girls being insipired by that one too

Calm watched in horror as the mad man plunged the knife into Holly's stomach. She then glanced over to Pious's still body. Making the choice between Pious and Holly and the hostages was easy. Hostages came first.

Seeing Momo charge in to attack, Calm was hot on her heels. With every intention of pulling Holly from the middle of the fight and getting the hostages out of there.

"Well someone jumped in with out thinking." Mumbled Calm, she ran into the room. Dark wisps of smoke wrapped around her hands and she threw them at Mr Maniacal.

Tenticles of dark energy bust out of the floor grabbing for the maniac. Hoping she had given herself enough of a gap, Calm aimed a healing burst of energy at Holly.

Calm started radiating a soothing aura.

"Fine, I'll try to keep Maniacal occupied." Calm rolled her shoulders and stood ready to precede the others.



((I have to go to work now, but when Calm goes into the main warehouse she will be shooting Tenebrous Tentacles followed by Nightfall at Mr Maniacal.))

Calm caught upto the waiting Fireflash, Momo was only a short distance behind her.

"Hey." She whispered to Fireflash before dropping to the floor. She ducked low to the ground as she poked her head around the door into the main warehouse.

She saw the two women stood in the middle of the room and grimaced at the poor business man. She crept back and turned to Fireflash and Momo.

"Any idea's or are we storming the castle?" She asked quietly. "We can't stand here for long or those women will die."

Calm flew through the shattered doorway. She moved with the easy confidence of an experianced hero and soon caught up the Momo.

"Hey." She smiled at Momo while keeping pace with her. Calm raised her hand and gentle glow surrounded the other woman (fort). "Need some help?" she asked politely.

As Calm landed, she scanned the surroundings and saw the fallen hellions and the shattered door.

"Well I guess I'm in the right place. No rest for the wicked." She spoke to no-one in particular as she made her way over to the building.

Hhhmmm this could be tricky

Wild Red has her own 'deity' so she would probably have some soul searching to do before deciding to follow or not.

Leo & Gemini Wright. Gemini would be aware and would probably fight. If Gemini did not share a psychic link with her brother he would be a mindless drone but Gemini would probably pull him along with her instead.

As for most of my other characters they would probably sucumb and become worshipers.

"I'm fine, just a flesh wound. After he sapped you, I got fighting and got cut up a bit, but he just vanished." Ryan replied. The blood on his arm was hissing a little from the temperature, and parts of the corridor behind him were scorched black.

"They just all vanished, BODI told me. Even the Titans outside... we did it." Ryan grinned. "Well, we didn't kick their [censored], but we're alive, and that's what counts."

Leo attempted to lift himself up but as the darkness crept in around him, he thought better of it and lay back down.

"Sorry Ryan, I'm not going anywhere right now." Leo paled as the pain of a muliple laser hits started to register in his brain.

By this time Gemini had made it through the ruined lobby of Vigilance Tower, as she got to the same floor as Leo, she could see Ryan standing over her brother in the remains of the charred corridor.

"Oh my god! Leo." She ran over to them and dropped to her knees next to Leo. "I'm so sorry Leo, for everything." Gemini started crying in earnest, she let out a healing green aura that covered both Leo and Ryan.

"Gemini!" Leo reached over and took his sister's hand. "It's alright, we're going to be alright." Leo looked at Ryan with a puzzled look on his face.

With the healing aura from Gemini doing it's job, Leo got to his feet.

"What next? Clean up?" He asked Ryan while still holding onto Gemini's hand.

"Thanks." Gemini smiled at Pioneer. Then through the psychic link she had forced on her brother without him knowing, she felt him fall.

"LEO." she screamed as she ran for the nearest exit. She ran as fast as she could toward Vigilance Tower. Ignoring the battle being waged around her.

Oblivious to the disappearing Malta around her, she skidded through the broken doors to Vigilance Tower on bloody feet. Once she regained her balance she ran towards the stairwell, tears starting to dampen her cheeks.

Leo groaned as the numbness in his body was slowly being replaced by pain.

"Did anyone get the number of that train that hit me?" Leo chuckled which turned into a grimace when it aggravated his aching body. He saw darkness around the edge of his vision as he fought to stay conscious.

"Are you ok?" He asked when he saw Ryan's arm.

"I'm sticking to you like glue Ryan. Anyone wants a piece of you, they have to go through me!" Leo kept pace with Ryan and he had meant what he said.

As Gemini exerted her telekinetic powers on the falling debris to direct it at the SHADOW unit, Number Nine had sent her singularity spiriling into the air, the chunks of falling building being drawn into its swirlinng grip.

Spotting the incoming rubble, SHADOW 3 swiped at the pieces with his energy blades, shattering them out of his way. Several channelgun arms pointed at Gemini and fired.

The Pioneer, clad in orange and black, darted in front of her, arms drew up to guard his upper body as he glowed with an unnatural light. Each blast slammed into him and ground him back towards her, before a frenzied volley sent him flying, smoke whisping from his costume.

Gemini watched in horror as the Pioneer placed himself between her and the SHADOW unit. As he was thrown across the room Gemini ran after him. When he hit the floor she bathed the area in a healing green glow.

"Why did you do that?" Gemini asked quietly, she had no idea if he could hear her. She bathed the area in another healing aura.

Gemini stood with her jaw open at the sight of the Shadow unit. It took her a moment to realise what was happening. She watched as the roof started to break away. She threw the guns to the floor.

"Use your environment to your advantage." She mumbled to her herself. Using a telekinetic blast she started aiming the falling concrete at the Shadow unit.

Gemini looked around at everyone asking her if she was alright. She felt like screaming, instead a string expletives issued from the angelic looking blonde girl.

"I'm stood in the middle of a war torn lobby, dressed in a hospital gown and a lab coat. Holding two automatic rifles that I'm barely trained to use. Bare feet getting shredded by all the broken glass. What the hell do you think?" She swung the other rifle free of the shoulder strap. "As you are now probably aware, I was never catatonic and I have also broken my cover. Let's just get this over with!"

She flicked both the rifles to fully automatic and started making her way down the lobby, leaving bloody footprints behind her.

At the same time as Lo-Fi, Hi-Fi created a wall of air that Leo ignited and pushed forward. Leo counted less Malta operatives than before. He pushed on and then attacked drawing all their fire power in his direction. Allowing Hi-Fi to attack without fear of being attacked himself.

Gemini was proving to be ineffective, her range was too short she needed to get closer. Setting the rifle to single shot she aimed at the closest gunslinger. The headshot impacted with such a force his hat flew off his head.

Keeping low to the ground Gemini made it to the reception desk. She could see Chlorr struggling not to far away.

"Why didn't I practice with my healing abilities?" Gemini scolded herself. She reached out her hand and aimed a healing energy at Chlorr.
