The thing is, defenders have great debuffs and buffs, meaning an all defender team would possibly exceed normal blaster damage in relative safety.

All pretty good, though I would swap your epic and do it different personally. The two epics that I find good for supporting are primal and earth. Primal gives you power boost. That will improve some of your control powers (Then again, alot might screw up things like Earthquake), or my personal reccomendation Earth Mastery. You get 3 nice powers that improve your survivability alot. You get fissure, AoE disorient. Damage not to scoff at, and also 50% chance to do a good duration disorient (10secs base I think off the top of my head) and also 50% chance to knockdown. On top of this, you get a defence based armour (To dodge any annoying status attacks too) and dull pain style power, great for an emergency heal when you can't get to the mobs, also if you think you might soak up a bit of damage in a bad situation.

Can anyone who's coming just post here so I can get a vague Idea if it's worth doing or not then? Thanks

Lmao. Fire/kinetics is one of the really strong powerset combos, In my opinion the best at what I do with it, damage comparable or beyond alot of blasters I've played with, with my good control in there too.

Course, there are sets like Earth/Storm that are ALWAYS ready to stop a mob from doing things one way or another, and can probably keep several like that at the same time.

Fire/Kinetics. Definitely. Please Devs, I beg you. Buff us. Please.

Hmm, I'm not sure, they're all pretty good. Would guess something like, I don't know, Illusion/Sonics? Not sure, all controllers pwn.

So then, who IS coming? It's gunna be a bring-your-own defender team, level 1, atlas park (Or tutorial if yall want), union. On Tuesday, at 6 I think, people can join late.

Still not decided on mine, thinking kin or storm /psi at the moment.

So when they got nerfed, Ice storm just got double damage. Played around with it, it's awesome, but I still prefer good ol' fissure. Knockup/Disorients ftw

elec/ice? Nah. Ice/Energy? Heck yeah.

I'm making mine a kin/psi I think. If there's gunna be another kin/, then I think we could all skip fitness and maybe go into leadership instead. You know, for the amazing def/acc/damage from a bunch of toggles sort of thing

My fire/kin's better than ever, now I've switched to the earth epic. Don't rely on it so much for damage, I have hot feet, ring of fire, and imps for that, but It gives me a great AoE disorient Also, I went creative with it and also took fighting to go with the Defensive epic (With it's +def and its +maxhp).

Better than ever! And just an FYI people, Ice storm was not nerfed IIRC, and should still be awesome.

So, might get this all defender team rolling sometime. I've still not decided what I'll make... but how about we have a first meet this tuesday coming? Say at around, 6pm ish? I'm not fussed over servers, so let's say union for now, unless lots of people have that server filled.

Short Circuit and transference and your nuke are the only major end sappers in the set iirc.

Just out of interest, what would happen if someone did powerboost and then summoned the pet? No effect I'm guessing, but just curious.
