Thinking of chaging my Global to the Knockback Kid because between Alphane and my E/E blaster (AoE Knockback <dramatic evil laugh> Wahahaaha) I get such a roasting about it.
Oh also on the anchor issue I put up a suggestions in the forums that might interest you - 'Status icons for targets'

Thanks again for that E/E advice, that AoE is really important solo, I'm still loving Nova though (as if I could ever possibly give it enough love).

I'd like to say a couple of things first to let you know my situation (firstly to get it clear in my own head, secondly in case, and I kind of hope they do, my friends read this). I've been playing City of ... for a couple of months now and am thoroughly enjoying it. I was introduced by a couple of RL friends ( we play D+D together) who ran a highly succsesful guild in Guild wars (Website,Forums, TS server and yearly guild meets at there home ). Them and a couple of other players started playing some Heroes and set up a SG.
Now it seems half the players who migrated, there where only about half a dozen of them, have moved on I'm left looking at a very well equiped but empty SG base. I still see my two good friends in game now and again and I wouldn't stop playing with them for love nor money. But I think I'm missing out on too much SG wise to stay attached to there SG.
So now you've heard my ramble what I am looking for is a fun active SG, that I can get involved with and hopefully contribute something to.
As you might have noticed from earlier I came to online gaming through Roleplaying games and I still love the interplay of diffrent peoples imaganative ideas, so ideally I would be looking for someone who has access to a website or forums that I could contribute too. That and other players to regularly team with to hopefully learn each others strengths and weaknesses, learn more about the game and you never know possibly even to make new friends.
Thanks again if you've stuck with me this far and I look forward to hearing from anyone who thinks they might have what I'm looking for SG-wise.

I'd love to come along on the Sunday with my Inv/SS tanker Alphane. I think he's 26 at the moment. I would really love to do a TF as I've started 2 so far the first a group was racing through and my old computer was to slow to keep up in tranistions so I had to drop out(rather frustrating) then I was in a team that tried the one in ouroboros from the peacebringer, we were snotted after 5 or 6 deaths the team fell apart (it was the 2nd biggest debt stain I've ever had on my bar, the first was also caused by the cursed CoT, again rather frustrating.) so it would be nice to get toghether with a good team and experience one properly this time (third time lucky, touch wood).So tell me where to meet (don't know where the contact is on Talos) and I will see you Sunday (is it 11 o clock if I'm in the UK?)

Am thinking of creating a mastermind for my first journey into CoV. I was attracted to either ninja or necro with dark or poison. Can anyone offer any advice into the strengths and weaknesses of these combinations. I PvE mostly in teams though I enjoy soloing sometimes. Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer me some guidance.

Thanks for the help guys, I'm going to take EB and see how it goes. Also enough respect for soloing a blaster I've never managed to complete a single mission by myself.

Master Extreme lvl 27 e/e blaster

It was more a concern about AoE (or Cone) KB . I took energy torent and never use it because I die fairly consitantly when I do as the half dozen minions I KB'd get up and come and squish me.
Is this a concern with explosive blast and if so what can I do about it?

anyone got any ideas why this is or isn't a good power. I've read E/E blaster guides that say it's horrible anyone any more detailed advice?
